My first looper was the Corkscrew at Geauga Lake. It is now defunct and I remember waiting for hours.

Batman: The Ride was my first looper. It was also my first big coaster... Yup, I remember my first ride on it. Good times I can sometimes tend to laugh at.

I was six and had just completed kindergarten. My dad told me I shouldn't be a wuss and because I was going to be in first grade I had to ride a roller coaster. I rode the Corkscrew and screamed my head off, but I loved it. After that, there was no more Rainbow Island for me. I tackled all the rollercoasters, all 4 of them at Geauga Lake.

My first trip to SFGAm was in 1991, and I was just a wee little lad then. I remember I almost cried on Whizzer, almost cried on American Eagle, was terrified of the big spinning thing in a building (Haybailer), wanted to ride the train really bad, want to ride the "bird cages" really bad, was terrified just looking at the big blue one at the front, thought Iron Wolf's station was some sort of weird game with those moving seats (I was on the midway, it was 2 or 3 years until I was in it's station,) loved Fiddlers Fling, and finally at the end of the day, I went on Demon and wasn't afraid anymore. I think I went on 4 or 5 coasters that day, but I only remember Whizzer well, American Eagle's first drop (my god, to a 5 or 6 year old, it's the end of the world!), and the double loop on Demon.

I was scared of rollercoasters until right after my 18th birthday, when my boyfriend at the time took me to Great America. I cried on Viper I was so scared...I know pathetic. I used to cry on Whizzer all the time when I was little. Batman was my first looping coaster, which is what made me start loving coasters all together.

hmm...lets see here, two years ago my first coaster ever was American Eagle, and later that day I rode Demon for my first looper. I rode all the coasters that day except V2, Raging Bull, and Batman (It was a crowded late july sat.)

Corkscrew at Cedar Point was my first looping coaster. I think I was only 7-8 and I was crying for the rest of the day. Now that I'm older...I want to go on every roller coaster!

My first coaster was Galaxi at Indiana Beach, after riding it I hated coasters for a few years until I rode Demon.

What up ya'll. I'm new here. I've grown up with Great America. I used to live in Chicago and visit frequently, however I now live in Indianapolis. I still make it to the park a couple times a year. Anyway, Demon was also my first looper. Tidal Wave was my second and Shockwave was my third. I miss both Tidal and Shockwave, but I'm so happy that it is coming to SFKK, which is only a 90 minute drive from me. I'll be back on the Tidal Wave in a couple months!!!!LATAMike
