Can Great America replace the American Eagle?

The longstanding rumor is that the Eagle has been grandfathered in and the park can't build on the land because of it's location next to the interstate.... Well Marcus Leshock has a official answer from the park on if that's true or not.

THANKS for posting this video! This dispels all the urban legends/myths about this ride not being able to be replaced.

I actually believe this ride's days are numbered: If they WERE going to do something, what are they waiting for? Why haven't they done anything to it?

Meanwhile, the park has brought us Maxx, Tsunami Surge, Refurb of Roaring Rapids, Striker, remodeled front entrance, Wrath, a Raging Bull repaint, etc. while Eagle continues in its decaying state.....


P.S. I'm old enough to remember when this ride was being built so I do know its Glory Days!

If we get a giga in 2027 or 2028. I think a complete Eagle refurbishment will be the next big project.

Well if there are plans to race it again you can bet it will be staying around for a while. Wishful thinking for some lol.
