http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1568 ... ure=38Look at the picture in that link.... do you see how the wheel on the side of the car that is there to tip it into hanging position in the station? Also do you see the track it is about to run onto? I know what it is for but do you think that the wheel could be put inbetween to pieces of track like on "X" to flip the cars from batman seating here.... http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1568 ... cture=18to flying positiom here http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1568.htm?Picture=17 half way through the ride? If you dont get what i am saying here look at this it could run on track like this instead.... http://rcdb.com/installationgallery750.htm?Picture=25I think a ride like this would be awsome first you leave the station like an inverted you go down a huge drop go thrugh a loop(still like batman) and all of a sudden durring a straightaway your car slowly tips into flying position (like how X's wheels flip the cars!) and then all of a sudden your on superman! well actually i know this is possible with the designers we have today..... just give me your feedback......If you still dont understand what i am saying i.m. me stupidme523

No, I'm glad you started this thread... Others were reading too, and I think it would be a cool idea, very creative. I bet one day we will see something similar to that at the rate they are going with coasters.

I'm sure its possible, but I doubt with those trains. They are probably designed for dynamic forces only while in flying mode. If the ride would go to loading position mid-ride, I doubt it would be catostrophic (in fact, I think I've seen pics of AIR testing in loading position,) but I doubt they are designed to handle those forces under regular, every day operating conditions. Otherwise I bet it would work with different trains.

Yeah, that would be sortof interesting... Or the backwards of that thought... I wonder if trains like on Batman could be converted to flying trains. It might not work though just because of the different force it would put on your body. It would be cool though.

Hmmm... I don't know if you could just convert like that. As I understand it, the S:UF trains are highly sophisticated. I think they would be better off just building one from scratch. That would take a lot of modifications to turn a B:TR train into one suitable for S:UF.

No you guys dont get what i am saying.....what i ment is have a combination of a flying and inverted roller coaster. first it would have like batmans first half inverted then durring the ride the cars would tip back into flying position and take the course of a flying rollercoaster because in the link i showed you the superman trains start like an inverted, and i did not mean just take superman trains i ment make new ones to handle the forces(even thought the way i am thinkning wont have anymore than a normal coaster)Intstant message me guys stupidme523

Why not just go all out and get a 4d roller coaster?

If you meant start with new trains right away, why wouldn't it be possible? Never say impossible unless you're using existing technology and not improving on it first.

No, see what I meant was to take B:TR trains off of Batman, and replace them with S:UF trains... Then you could "fly" on Batman the Ride too.

Gotcha now, thanks for that clarification. I thought you were talking modifications.. that would have been crazy. But yeah, if they could just design coasters that were half and half, I wonder what they would call them. How does Flying Inverter sound?
