OT: Portillo’s coming to Gurnee Nov 2015

If you usually leave the park for food while visiting the park next year you will have a two new restaurant choices only five minutes away.

"The Village of Gurnee is ecstatic that Portillo's is coming to Gurnee Mills,” said Mayor Kristina Kovarik. “Bringing a Portillo’s to the Village of Gurnee has been a top request from our residents year after year. I have no doubt that Portillo's will be wildly successful and a powerhouse addition to our regional shopping and tourism corridor."

The Gurnee Portillo’s will feature a 1920s and 1930s old Chicago theme, along with a two lane drive-thru. The Gurnee location will be be the most recent northern Illinois location and be located between Bass Pro Outdoor World and Burlington Coat Factory. 200 employees will be hired for the Gurnee Mills location, providing additional jobs to Lake County residents.

In addition, Buffalo Wild Wings is opening up this November at Gurnee Mills too.
