Goliath opening ceremony length?

I want to ride Goliath Thursday, but I'm not usually ready until around 11:00, so I was wondering how long do you thing the opening ceremony will take. An hour? Half hour? Please tell me, I really want to ride the best coaster at the park(like the rest of you)! Thanks.

I plan on arriving at GA before it opens. I am guess the opening ceremony will take about half an hour maybe less. I've never attended an opening ceremony of a coaster so I don't know either.

I am not sure how long the opening ceremony will be. At the Media Day events that I've attended, the opening ceremonies are less that 30 minutes long. So I would expect them to be be around 20 minutes.

The opening ceremony was today and actually cut short due to the storm rolling in. They didn't even shoot off the fireworks!
