Goliath Media Day

Who out there is going to be attending the media day for Goliath on Wednesday? It would be nice to put some faces to screen names.

Also, anyone from the boards go to any prior SFGAm media days? What should I expect? I've heard some great things about Banshee's media day, but that is Cedar Fair, not SF, so wondering what this park does to celebrate its new ride.

I will be there Jodon. I was at the Batman Backward media day and it was a lot of fun. A lot of riding and its great to be able to experience a new ride before other people. You will get a lot of rides on Goliath (I got 30 on Batman Backwards during media day) As for the hospitality they had food and drinks, I would expect the same for Goliath. Overall were gonna have a great time!

My guess is don't expect alot of ride time, but who knows. I'm guessing there will be more media coverage then usual because of the world records this will break. So I'm just preparing myself for only a few rides. Everything else will be a bonus!

^ From my understanding, media stations report at 9am. Coaster Clubs like ACE and Club TPR are being told to arrive at 3, 3:30. Unless this information is false, there should be a good amount of ride time if you're in a coaster club attending

Media Stations start reporting as early at 5am, (I believe for x-flight it was even earlier) So that is why they want Coaster Club attendees there so early. I have been to several of the media days and the live shots are usually shot in the early morning hours, then about 9am or so the recorded media shots are done.

I'll be there. Look out you might end up on my youtube page. Some media will be there at opening of the ride. There will be media from Chicago TV to Chicago Radio Stations to Milwaukee to Iowa to Indiana. Good Morning America was there for X-Flight. A channel 32 Fox guy dressed as Batman on his Media Part at Batman Backwards. It'll be fun fun fun fun, and yes the food was great for lunch.
