2016 will be the park's 40th anniversary of their first operating season, so I figured that most of you would have some good ideas that you think the park should implement.
***DISCLAIMER: "zOMG 300 FOOT INTAMIN MEGALITE WITH THREE INVERSIONS IN SUPERMANS SPOT" comments will be ignored by myself and most other sane people.***
Ideas: - Repaint the rides that need repainting. Repaint Superman's rails blue, the yellow looks cool when it's first painted but it never lasts and looks hideous when it fades. V2 looks absolutely vile and Eagle's not doing so hot, either. - Fix Eagle's final helices. Seriously. Do it. They're absolute pants. - Do some landscaping work around the park, maybe replace the pathways with brick walkways? They'd look nicer and be less scorching than the asphalt pathways the park currently has.
So much better.
Obviously I'm going for more aesthetic and visitor-friendly changes than some may have wanted/expect, so feel free to add you own ideas.

six flags already has plans on repainting American Eagle.....and to fix the helix? it seems just fine to me just an average wooden coaster....i would like to see landscaping done to the park and maybe some repainting of the park but highly doubtful anything big is going to happen most likely just advertise that its there 40th year of operations
I see Demon coming down before 2016 and something new taking its place... Demon does have a large footprint and so a lot of rides are possible (except INTAMIN 300 FOOT MEGALITES)
I'd love to see something like what Kings Dominion is doing this year for their 40th. Things that SFGAm could do could include:
- Midway Fix Ups and landscaping - Cowboy stunt show in SWT - Retheme/repaint V2 to something that fits YH better - New Looney Tunes themed kids area or rethemed area - Vintage merchandise - Daytime Parade - Updating Pictorium's technology and cleaning up the area around it - Bringing back old theming - Throwing paint on anything they can
Lots of great ideas so far. Re-painting a lot of the coasters is a must. How about re-painting BTR with blue track and silver supports? Also, run AE: Blue backwards again.
Price rollback to original pricing across the entire park. Real Food. Bring back the specific area costumes. A hell of a lot of repainting. Pavers would definately be nice. removal of Swtat new ride. new Ride in Trailblazers spot. BB Removal, ropes course removal, go karts removal and refurbishment of looney tunes tunes national park with smaller rides and some bigger junior type thrill rides for the entire family. Wilderness theater removal.
-Repaint: BTR, Superman, V2 and Eagle. They need it so badly.
-I would love to see another launched coaster in the park (Maverick style ride)
-Get another song (New announcer?) to play when the "Six Flags Lady"is making announcements. I'm tired of "Life Is A Highway" 20 times a day.
-New songs in the park. PLEASE. They have had the same songs playing in the park for years.
Get rid of Kip or Kim or whatever her name is (Lady who is usually at SFMM asking trivia q's and whatnot) I'd rather watch commercials than listen to the same thing play all day while waiting in line.
-Station music for rides. I know it's probably a safety issue with some rides, but it would be great to listen to music while in the station. Ex. Raging bull have western themed music, Superman has hero music etc..
-Wilderness Theater removal: it's barely used, and just an eyesore. Either put a show or something in it, or get rid of it.
-Kids Area Expansion: I was thinking they should expand Camp Cartoon, and retheme it. The Hanna-Barbera theme is getting harder and harder to fulfill the full experience of these shows as they're all pretty old, and barely aired anymore. Perhaps bring some of the Bugs Bunny National Park favorites, and give it a Looney Toons Yukon theming, like the original.
-Maverick type coaster: I can think of two possible locations. 1, use the former site of Ragin' Cajun. 2, remove the gokarts and create a tunnel to allow it to have a few special elements on the man-made lake.
-Repaints: several coasters need them badly, same with some of the buildings.
-Daily Parade/Trolley Ride: provide a type of ride that executes the trollies. If not, at least provide a daytime parade to keep guests interested in some of the offerings at the front of the park.
-Historical Museum: now that Thrill Seekers isn't on the Mporium building, the chance may be there. The building appears to be large enough to hold a small museum showcasing the parks history.

Personally, I think it will go out after the 2016 season. That way it will go out with a bang.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
Ok, I just had another crazy idea. Something that the park could do for the 40th Anniversary, they could run Goliath or X-Flight backwards for a limited time?
I think it would be pretty awesome if they did something like what King's Dominion is doing. Bringing back some classic stuff from park history and general park improvements. It would be nice to see our park get some love in some much needed areas.
I definitely would love to see just general improvements around the park just like Kings Dominion this year. It also wouldn't hurt to see some paint jobs on some coaster as well! cough: American Eagle :cough You listening Six Flags!?!?
In a recent survey things were mentioned about an interactive dark ride with a theme around the Scenic Railway, I'd really like to see something like that, especially if Sally Corp is given charge of the theming.

I really don't like the idea of doing anything to the Scenic Railway unless you are just redoing the trains. The same question was asked in the Sox Flags St. Louis survey. I think it should be left the way it is and instead a dark ride should be put in the Southwest Amphitheater.
This is a bit off topic at the moment, but I'd love to see Theatre Royale return.
Now before I get crap about the Dark Knight queue, let me explain.
Back in August at the Goliath Groundbreaking, I asked Katy Enrique and Brandon Bruce about any new theaters coming to the park. Brandon responded saying that they were talking about building a new queue house possibly for Dark Knight (since pretty much none of it is used anymore, you don't have to watch the pre-show), and return the Theatre Royale to its former glory. Thus, allowing for more shows in the park.
Personally, I'd like to see that. I believe a new queue for the ride could be manageable. I know it's kind of a tight area now, but modification could be done.
^ I've thought about that for a while now, but I never thought the park would actually consider it. Definitely no need for that queue anymore, as there is plenty of room for a new queue between the ride building and Heroes, though the Ride Photo booth would need to be removed to set up a proper entrance.
