Crowds on weekend?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hi guys. I am planning on going to six flags great america this Saturday with some friends for my birthday and I was wondering how long the lines should be for the major attractions and if it would be worth it to get the flash pass as I have not gone on a weekend since 2009. Thank you

Weather looks like it is going to be great. There will most likely be big crowds this weekend. If you don't like to stand in lines then Flashpass would be a good idea.

You can expect pretty good sized crowds as it is 1 a weekend 2 the weather looks great and 3 a last hurrah before some schools start. The FP all depends on what your ride preferences are if you are a major coaser junkie then it probably would be a good idea, Now I will say that the most expensive FP (Platinum) lets you ride twice and wait the least but it is like 110 for a single. But as its your birthday maybe you have good friends who would treat you to a Platinum FP maybe it could be you gift? Have a fun birthday and ride Fiddler's Fling and Roarin Rapids for me. :D

While crowds can be predicted on a variety of factors, nobody has a crystal ball and crowds are sometimes very hard to predict. Most people who wanted to go to the park this summer already have. Most college students are back in college and high schools are also back in session.
