Preferred seats on the coasters

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

After eying the grouper discussion, I decided that this is appropriate. Plus, it would fit regardless.

Viper: Near the front
Bull: Very back to squeeze as much airtime as possible out of it
Superman: Front, as I despise feet
X-Flight: Back outer seat, right wing
Batman: Near the middle
V2: See above
Demon: Near the front, when I ride the bloody thing

I think it's worth it to try front row on EVERY ride at least once, just for the experience. Some rides are best front, like Batman, but for some rides, the best seat entirely depends on what you want to get out of it.

Demon and V2 are two rides that I insist on riding back row (unless it's been forever since riding front and I'm looking for a refresher). And the reasons are the same for both: superior forces and more exciting visuals (not much else you can judge, can you? but back wins at both categories in these cases). Obviously, if you want the strongest forces going up the towers on V2, you have to choose front or back only, but personally I think staring down at the ground is far superior visually than staring into a plain blue sky. I'm also really glad the back tower is not spiraled, the straight track feels more free (and smooth). On Demon, the drop cannot be beat by the back row. It gets me every time. The drop looks innocent, it's not even steep! But boy is it fun flying out of your seat. And for visuals, I LOVE seeing the entire train loop over me, something you don't get from the front.

I am a huge fan of the front row on all coasters. I love the view you get of the track, drops, and turns. Even though there may be less speed, airtime, G-forces, etc. I still prefer the front no matter what coaster it is.
