Did you enjoy Batman the Ride Backwards? I sure did! It was INSANE! It stinks that the ride will have only one train in operation while it is running backwards however, when the ride operates forwards again, it will have two trains in operation. Batman the Ride Backwards is my FAVORITE ride at the park now? Tell me, what other rides do you want to operate backwards in the furture?
It will have two trains eventually....it's just a matter of when the other one is ready to go. I'm sure the park is going to work non-stop to try and get everything running at full capacity before they go into daily operation.
As for the ride experience....very disorientating and it gave me a really bad headache. Not sure if I'll be riding again until it goes forward.
Am I one of the few who found the ride to be better than before?! I rode in "the front" row which I absolutely loved & found it disorienting & more intense! I also didnt notice any headbanging, was it more smooth? IDK haha but again, loved it.
I felt like it was smoother and had less head banging than when it operates forward. I loved it! I rode in the "Front Row" as well. Maybe it depends where you sit. I'm not sure.
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!
I enjoyed this being first ever to experience this was pretty cool I dont really like front though it is pretty rough but the back isn't at all Hope to see you guys Thursday!

Another "Meyers" character? I thought the other meyer guy said he and his family weren't going??
Anyway, BTR backwards will have two trains...Don't know where you heard it will only have one. In fact, when you ride it, you can see the other train being assembled in the storage track.

I loved it! Definitely felt even more intense than forwards, if that's possible. Very smooth. I was quite dizzy getting off, though, even after taking Dramamine 2 hours prior, but I still enjoyed it.
I'm just hopping that i will be able to fit tried to ride on sat but missed getting the belt to buckle I'm a bigger guy who's always had to be pushed in but haven't gotten any bigger from last year but didn't fit in the new trains kind of wondering if the new seats are smaller

See that is what really pisses me off.It seems that they never make the seat belts long enough for bigger people. Im not even that big and it can be a tight fit but it also depends on what iam wearing too. Its a shame that only the fourth row on X-Flight has longer seat belts. They could have changed the seats I would not be surprised. One of my friends could fit on the ride when they used to have the adjustable seat belt.
The ride is absolutely insane, but more than one consecutive ride will most likely make one sick so I don't see this being a very re-rideable ride. Also I feel like a lot of uninitiated riders will become sick after one ride. I must say that row 7 is my personal favorite as it seemed like the most intense yet least nauseating and of course the unobstructed view of the track is very cool, however I found it hard to keep my chin high enough to maintain sight of the immediately traversed track. Overall I'd say that backwards, Batman the ride has become as disorienting as X2 and nearly as exciting. I hope it is a big success for six flags and encourages them and other park operators to consider retrofitting some of their older rides with backwards trains.
I was quite scared to ride it backwards but I can do it when it's going forwards just fine. I have never blacked out on a ride before and this was the first time I had. I know it scared me but I would like to go on it again before the cut off date whenever that will be
Sounds like most of you are really enjoying Batman the Ride Backwards! I think Six Flags Great America made a GREAT decision to run Batman backwards! I will still love to hear your reviews and what other rides you would like to run backwards in the future.
My opinion is that I like forwards much better. The only part backwards I liked better was the first loop. I felt it in my stomach more than going forwards. Other than that, I feel that the wing overs (corkscrews) are rougher because most people don't know where they are going - they haven't memorized the track. Even though I do go on Batman a lot, I even hit my ear on a wing over, and I never hit anything going forwards. The zero-g roll to me feels weaker, and so does the ending. It doesn't feel like much speed going into the brake-run (That could also be the caps on the train which creates wind resistance, and one less row though.), and the zero g-roll I don't feel the "push" like going foward with it.
Batman to me is #5 going forwards, and if I had to rank it backwards, I would say #25 favorite.
And someone said about blackouts, that has a lot to do with water intake / dehydration. Usually, you get that when you aren't drinking a lot of liquids during the day. You are walking alot - miles, and you really need liquids or you start blacking out on stuff.

I was able to ride it numerous times on Media Day and I much prefer the forward ride to the backward ride. I think it is intense going backwards, like it is forward and it was a nice experience to go backwards. I think going forward makes it more re-ride able. I know I could ride it all day going forward, but after a few times backwards i needed a break from it.
