I haven't heard about a Batman media day. When will it be? And is it open to the public?
"Everyone, listen to me! These jerks killed Superboy. They've tried to kill us. Now they say they're going to tear this city apart. I say... like hell."
ACE members are invited on I believe Thursday May 9, contact Scott Heck, spots are limited if there are any left. I think most people will go to GateKeeper Media Day instead which I was going to do until a new job put a stop to that, so you never know could still be some space at SFGAm.

Yep my son and I will be there. I wonder if Batman is semi neutered going backwards, because if not, I can imagine spewing, and a lot of it
Hope to see you there and I can see there being some down times during this due to spews and coasters wish I could go to that but were going ti coastermania instead! Have fun and tell me your experiences and I will tell you how it goes
I heard Media Day was originally scheduled for May 2nd, but got moved back, so I don't know. Based on that, I'd say that they aren't as close to ready as they'd like to be at this point.
I will be there! And I doubt there will be a lot of puking. Opening day, the ride wasn't running as intense as it is going forwards (probably because of one less row, less weight) but if anyone feels sick, they would just sit out for awhile. They aren't forcing anyone to ride!

guess that's a point but sure someone will push themselves tomorrow!
WGN in the morning was at Cedar Point's Gatekeeper instead of Batman backwards! Though at 5pm, this guy I guess did something at Great America, but I missed it. So look here if he posts a video or anything about Batman from 5pm wgn news: http://wgntv.com/leshock-value/

^ From that footage, it looks like they added the wheel covers back on the train and it looks like they put some type of themeing stickers on the covers as well. Also noticed the Six Flags logo on the train as well.

The batman stickers were there last year, and the Six Flags stickers were only on the first 2 trains for media. The others didn't have those.
Great ride though. I think after 17 times riding it I'n good for a little bit
Had a great time! I've never wanted to ride a B&M coaster so much. (I don't "hate" B&M; most of them just don't do much for me. It's like the same ride over and over.) Batman backwards is gonna be a huge hit. It feels less intense because your back isn't being pushed against the backrest the whole time; there is less vibration transmitted to riders.
With B&M OK with a coaster of theirs going backwards, I wonder if Cedar Fair would do this eventually (they turned the Racers all forwards because the manufacturer (PTC) of the trains didn't want them backwards. From what I heard anyway.)
I don't see Cedar Fair ever running a coaster backwards. They wont even run Himilaya's and Flying Bobs in reverse, and their Falling Stars operated in one direction only.
