I know one thing.... i most defintly will not be going on that ride. I can't take rides that spin in circles constantly but i can take rollercoasters.....
I dunno i don't understand. Haha.

God that is stupid. Now i see really no point in 4 of the new rides. The only one i may go on is the wild mouse one time and thats it. Why dose sixflags allways ruin stuff that would sound fun now you cant even remotly see anything when ur on the ride besides other passengers. It kinda makes me think twice about getting my seasson pass i guess its 2 late since its already here. Now ill probally only go 2 times this year instaed of my normal 6.

Your right. I road that ride when it was situated in sfgadv. It doesnt make you dizzy, and you cant see jack. You dont get dizzy because you cant even see your surroundings. Plus, the operator can adjust the spinning speed and it went very slow until the last 5 seconds of the ride wen he turned it up to teakup speed.

So you're going to visit the park less this year, just because one of the new "extra" rides they're adding, isn't good enough? Basically you're saying then, if they weren't adding anything at all, you'd go to the park more than you will now that they are adding things. Hmm...or am I misunderstood?

I dont think i'm going to even try it. The only reason for that is because i know for a FACT that i would end up getting sick and then wouldn't be able to do anything else for the rest of the day. But I cant wait to go on all of the coastesr again up there.

I personally wouldnt want to watch some one get sick because then it would make me feel sick... and then there is always the chance that they might get sick on you.....

See i was debating on get a seasson pass this year because i didnt think i would have time to go since ill be working every thursday friday and posibly saterday. I live about 3 hours or more way and i try to make 5 trips. Well anyway i decied to get a seasson pass because of the 5 new rides. But im alittle mad that there rides that i can go on at the fair. I thought o cool a frisbee 120 some feet in the air man ill be able to see some go scenery like roller coasters in the backround and other stuff. Now i can't even see anything because its 66 feet tall and u face the person across you and you hope to god that they dont puke on you. None of these new attractions are all that good. Im saying instead of 5 little rides that most people wont ride on get 1 or 2 cool this like 130 foot giant frisbee or that new giant drop thing where are looking face downb and you spin up or something like that.

Now I dont think i'll enjoy the ride that much, but that doesnt mean that I hate SFGAm cause they got a 66 foot frisbee instead of a 170 foot model. And why the hell would they get another big drop tower when they already have Giant Drop??.

Purchasing two drop rides would not make much sense.

I've never seen a Top Spin at a fair and even if there is, SfGaM's is going to be better anyways.

WHY? Do you guys have any common sense. This years addition is far better than anyone could have imagined. You need to realize that we have gotten 4 coasters in 4 years, all this while some Six Flags parks havent recieved any new coaster in ten years. If you have'nt realised more than just enthusiasts go to the park. They have to cater to more that just you ungrateful people. Enthusiasts account for less that .5 % of the parks attendance. You think their gonna worry about you, or the other 99.5% that are happy that they have 5 new rides to go on.

I couldn't agree more. Enthusiasts may think they run the park, but only one thing truely does. The Bottom Line. The Bling-Bling. The Money. Whatever you want to call it, Its Profits that make the decisions. Now they have enough rides to draw in the Teenage and thrill seeking group, they BADLY needed to add Family rides, and this addition is going to be great for Great America's attendance.

And not to menchin theres also no reason for enthusiasts to be dissapointed, we were expecting nothing this season and get renovatedarea, a couple cool new rides, and the improvements ya'll have been crying for the past few years.

I agree. If we didn't get anything this year people would have been complaing(even though we shouldn't have really expected this as it is). Now we end up getting a revamped area and 5 new rides including a coaster. Now everyone is complaing again. You people have no right to complain, think of the people thats home park is SFEG...,

LoL... I was reading this topic, and getting mad at all the people complaining. I was getting ready to *patiently* explain to them that FAMILIES are what count, but I see that my four counterparts above me have already done that... LoL. Enough said!
