I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of Rolling Thunder, cause the one's online really dont look that good and you can't hardly make them out, so if anybody could find some pic's of it that would make my day!
I've been on the ride 6 times but I was like only 5 or 6 an I really dont rember what the heck it looked like. So help me out.
I never went on it... mainly because I didn't start going to SFGAm until 2000 and I probably wouldn't have been tall enough anyways. I would have loved to ride it...
I loved rolling thunder, esp. the nightime marathon I had with my family on it, rode it for like 30 mins straight, sure it was short, but with a fully loaded car, it was fun!

I went on it a few times too and all I remember is a turn. When Viper first opened I dont even remember Rolling Thunder being there. I remember waiting in the line and I dont remember seeing it next to it.
I used to always ride Rolling Thunder I even got the last ride on it . I still remember it today, it was a night ride on Labor Day, oh how I miss Rolling Thunder....
Rolling Thunder was really fun. I used to love it. However, I seem to remember people not looking too happy when exiting the ride. They must have been crazy!! HAHA. The block brakes were quite painful though.
I loved rolling Thunder! I wish it would come back! (That was not a request! I don't want to start another "Shockwave is not coming back"-debate. I just wanted to say that.)
Everyone try to find some links that are unseen pictures of sfgam when it was young and rolling thunder pics please. Do NOT! post one of like great america parks or like the rcdb ones, just website that people can't really find too we'll.
In the first link to the picture that was taken at the top of Eagles Lift hill (backwards), if you look to the right of the base of the lift hill, you can see rolling thunder cars.
