Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
I was just wondering if anyone knew if a ride was going to be removed to make room for a new one? I'd hate to see Condor go. I don't really care about Rue Le Dodge.

Well Ameri-go-round will be removed for the 2004 season to make room for Revolution. I believe Ameri-go-round will return in 2005 in a different location though.
Besides that, no other rides are being removed to make room for the Mardi Gras additions to the park. Rides like Power Dive and Cajun Cliffhanger, which used to stand where the new Mardi Gras section is going to be have been gone for awhile now.

One
Is this a rumor, or has it been confirmed in the press release. I didn't see it anywhere official, but I might have skipped over it.
Just wondering...

I believe it was said at NoCoasterCon, I didn't attend NoCoasterCon so it's something I read elsewhere.

He said that... but I doubt it'll happen. He said it was a possibility. The carousel was never really a draw. People never rode it.

They can say anything they want......it MAY go in the park in the future (newspaper or not). It was more of a decoration anyway, theres no reason having it there with Columbia in the park cause even when it was open no one rode it.
