Six Flags Great America tweeted "Look what we found getting a fresh coat of paint! Wonder what they could be using these for #FrightFest?" and the picture of the repainted Sky Whirl Cabins. I remember from previous years that they were painted green. I wonder where and what they will be used for this year since it looks like they got repainted their original colors Does anybody know or have any guesses of where and what they'll be used for.
They could be used as a prop for like a "ride gone wrong" sort of deal, but that doesn't explain why they repainted them. If the ride cemetery is being expanded, then great news. I always thought it would be cool to have a guided maze with a guide telling you about each ride.
Don't fight the Bull, ride the Bull!
Best 2011 Moment: "I lost my phone on Raging Bull!" "WELL I LOST A SOCK!!!" Best 2012 Moment: "No good! DREAM ON!" Best 2013 Moment: "I came here for Auntie Anne's pretzels and coasters......in that order!"
^Although the walkthrough with a guide would be greatand cool, I don't see Six Flags doing that at all....let alone during Fright Fest. Most likely it will be in the same spot, but made a few feet larger. I could be wrong, who knows. But that's my guess!
I bet they will be used in Deadline (the walk-thru part where IW was) since it's supposed to look like an old theme park overtaken by zombies. They can place them along the path and have actors inside.
