I have a question about the free friend passes. How many are you supposed to get? Is it one per visit or is it one total for the season? Seems like they changed the rule on usa yesterday alng with charging 2$ more for parking? Each time we've gone this season, I've gotten a free friend ticket, 4 times. Yesterday, they tell me I've used my 1 free friend ticket already that I was only supposed to have one. Customer service guy, says, he can let me have another one but not any more, then all of a sudden a supervisor pops his head out the window and says we don't get anymore. Good thing I had my season pass coupons with me or I would had to turn around and drive back the 70 miles back home.
Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
BTW, for anyone thinking I'm trying to get something for free, think again. Just confused because they are not consistant.

MTA: I haven't had any issues with it, but I always do everything through the Xtreme Pass window.
Every time you visit you get 2 free tickets, this year?

$2 more for parking?? Am I reading that correctly?? Sheesh this better not be true...I wouldn't be surprised if by opening day next year, parking jumps to $25 or something. Park is getting greedy now that Fright Fest is underway, they know the park gets crowded those days so might as well raise it another $2, then the money starts adding up *slaps forehead*

Yes that's how they get money back from the meal pass they lost money from, I won't be surprised it going to $25 next season. Thanks for the gold pass with free parking they offer now if you get 4 passes all with parking.
alexlohan wrote:Yeah, $22 and up is just greedy. Honestly, I think anything over $10 is pretty greedy, considering most people going to the park are spending $40 on a ticket and then will most likely spend at least $20 in the park. But the reality is that most parks are raising their parking prices each year, which makes the Gold Pass worth it (free parking)--especially if you can get 4 people in on it ($64.99 pp); otherwise, I think it's $139.99 or something like that for an individual Gold pass. Still worth it if you plan on visiting the park 3+ times total in 2012/2013.
3 years ago they had $10 for the back lot & $20 for the front lot and when they changed it for everyone to $20 to front lot only and over flow will park in the back lot in 2010 but they had a special section for season pass holders parking section, this annoys me that everyone parks up front and if i get there in the late afternoon I have to walk from the back lot, but that's what there still doing for more revenue would be nice is they do $15 for the back lot $25 for the front lot and/or give Gold pass a special area in the front lot
99.9% sure they can use them dyeing ff if not guest realitions would have a issue to deal with and with them losing money on season dining pass ect....many if not most season pass holders have bought this and you have to remember if they didnt have these they would lose money anyways with season pass holders coming later in the day and just grabbing a preztel or something and plus that makes everyone stay till 430 which means if its hot...more money i drinks....it may seem that they have lost money with this but really they HAVN'T hopefully they DO have it like they have said they would gives me an excuse to say "hey we can stay longer"

Yep I remember when they had $10 and $15 parking for the back. I always paid that much because I wanted to save money plus, Im not lazy...I can walk the extra couple of minutes. But I remember the day that the parking went up...the guy at the booth was like "$20". I was like "Oh I want the back parking" He said "Oh its $20 to park anywhere now" I was kinda ticked off because 1: Me and my friends literally budgeted that trip and we all brought just enough for parking, food and gas. And since I had to pay an extra $10 me and a friend had to split a meal because we did not have enough to buy an individual meal for each of us...we had to chip in extra for parking! SO i was starving by the end of the day. I was seriously mad that day...they didn't warn about the extra parking and the park knows that people travel from a far to come to the park...so obv people aren't going to leave after travelling so far to go to the park. THe park knows people will have to pay the extra money...what greedy a-holes. and 2, we had to park in the freaking back anyway!!! Pay extra to park in the back my @$$!!
Sorry but I just get mad when the park takes advantage of us...which they do often...very often.
I talked to a really nice lady at customer service today and she told me it's only 2 for the season. I'm cool with it, but they should have worded it better which she was in total agreement with. She said that corporate has a problem with not explaining things enough and to the point.

^Not to start a whole off-topic conversation but, nowadays, what corporate office for any company explains things anymore in a fashion that everyone will understand? Seems like they only get paid nowadays to sit and stare at a computer screen and barely lift a finger.
But I am glad to hear that the extra $2 is only for this season.
