I remember that sign. I was there that day and was very upset hearing it was gonna go but then heard Shockwave was out instead. Glad Whizzer is still around

That was in a day without prominent social media. It was just coming onto the scene. Imagine doing that today.

Yay!! Glad to hear Whizzer got an award. About time too!! Such an underrated coaster in my opinion. Roller coasters are not about being the biggest, faster, coolest, most visually appealing...sometimes the best ones are those that we underappreciate and overlook. I know Whizzer for me is a coaster I must go on everytime I go!
