Older coaster/park pennants

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I've been scanning old stuff in and taking pictures of old souvenirs. I forgot I even had these pennants. Some are missing, though... but here's what I have for now:

WOW, I never knew they sold those! They are beautiful, did you buy them at the parks or somewhere online?

Pretty cool actually.

My son and I are starting a collection of the maps of all the parks we go to and the season collector's cups.

he likes them as posters in his room :)

@cliffhanger - Most of them I got at parks. A couple of them friends picked up for me.

I was big on pennants, mugs, stickers and postcards when I was a budding coaster geek in the 80s. It seems most of these types of souvenirs have sorta died out in recent years. Probably in favor of stuff that has a higher profit for the parks.

Slowly but surely, I am finding lots of old park/coasters stuff. Tons of old park maps, but my scanner is not big enough for them! I guess I could scan them section by section and then paste them together in paint, but I'm not sure I'm up for that time consuming project. I could tack them to the wall and take a picture, but then the resolution isn't as good. Not sure what to do about the maps I have.

Wow, those are awesome, thanks for posting!! I really love the Shockwave and Rolling Thunder ones. I also noticed the Great America one with KI's Vortex on the front :P I really want to collect more of these, I only have four right now. I have the red Great America one with the Great Adventure style logo; as well as Kings Island's King Cobra; one for The Edge, and a generic Marriott's Great America with the looney toons in a coaster car coming out of a cave.
Finally Coaster Season!!

By all means, share them! I would especially like to see The Edge one.
