Coupons or online ticket pricing a better deal?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hi,

I'm taking my kids this weekend for what is likely our only trip for the next couple of years (budget). So please don't just reply "The season pass is a better deal"...I know that and have gone that route in the past. I'm trying to find the cheapest way for 4 people to go on "one & done" trip to Fright Fest.

I see the online price of $39.99. They "say" the gate prices are $59.99...can anyone verify that for sure? I'd like to know if the online price, or the $15 "in person" coupon I've got will get four people in cheaper.

Outside of those options is anyone aware of any ongoing promotions? I've gone the Google route and only found a few false leads.

Any help is appreciated...thanks!

if you go to jewel you get the same price as online.

They have had the Buy One get one Free at jewel before as well. So that may save you some big bucks as well...

gate tickets are much more expensive. I can't state for sure that they are 59.99, but a quick call to them will get you that info...

Good hunting.

It's $59.99. It jumped from $54.99 to $57.99, then went to $59.99.

I just realized there isn't a Jewel in Rockford anymore since they were all taken out by CVS. However, there is one on the way to SFGAm off 173 in Antioch but I have to be sure they still have this when I am on my way to the park else I am in trouble.
