Since it sounds like Fright Fest is great this year, I am thinking about going this weekend. But, I was wondering if any if you guys think that it may be to scary for a 2 year old? If, not, how are the kids sections, and the Scooby Doo ride. Also, would it be better to go Friday night, or Saturday? Thanks for all of the help you can give me

Most of the "monsters" are nice and do not try to scare the small kids. I have seen the Trolls get down to the kids level and wave at them like you would to a small child. It only seems spooky when it is dark because all of the lights have been covered with red or purple paper, but I'm sure you will go home before that. The train ride is great for small kids and that is about it. I'm not sure if a 2 yr old would be able to see it all and understand it. Looney Toons National Park is all decorated for kids and Camp cartoon Network is still open. There are still many rides open that you can bring a under 36" on with an adult. It is really up to you if you want to spend the money. If you have a season pass I especially say "Why Not?" Saturdays are usually more crowded than Sundays. I have not been there on a Friday yet. Friday they are only open 5pm to 11pm??? Sat is 10 - 10 and Sun is 10 - 8, if that helps.

Thanks for the help. The one good thing is that she is 2 weeks away from being two, so she still gets in free :) She loves the park. The only bad thing about it is, that she cries when she can't go on the coasters with me :(

3 and under are FREE. So, you have 1 year and 2 weeks of FREE Admission.I went with my Niece during the summer, She is 3 and we hardly had time for everything. You be surprised by how many under 36" rides there is.Carlo

If you have a 2 year old and want your niece to have a good time, I would suggest taking her to Kiddieland. The park is geared for young children and they also have a halloween event going on until the end of the month.http://www.kiddieland.com/
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

The Fright Fest event if a Family Event. The Chacters are told to avoid scaring little kids. They will go up and say hello, shake their hand, give hugs.. etc. You really shouldnt have a problem at all.
