what are you thinking about Tuesday's Big announcemnt?

"On Tuesday, February 4, Six Flags Great America will be making an exciting announcemnt about the 2003 season. Check back for more information." (This is what the site said)So its comeing i want to here your thoughts for Tuesday?I know i cant wait!!!

Hmmmmmmm. Uhhhhhhhhhh. Wellllllllllll!!!! Lets see.We pretty much know what they are announcing tomorrow. The only surprise I can see is a slight variation in the stats of the coaster considering Susie Story was heard saying that this S:UF will be slightly different. However we dont know what that could possibly entail.They will be announcing in Milwaukee and Chicago.

Are they going to televise the press conference because i heard it was at 10 in the morning because im sick so im not goin to school tomorrow so I was hopin they would tevise it

I can't wait! Hopefully it isn't a clone! But I doubt it, but you never know! Maybe it will have a flying train and a inverted train! That would be so cool!

Its not going to be a live feed if thats what you are asking. I am sure some of the Chicago news will be there and show some footage during the evening news. Also the papers will most likely report something in the Wednesday edition of their respective papers.

Ive heard that the press conference was canceled for tomorrow, im not sure how true it is though. I think it might have to due with the Space Shuttle Tragedy memorial though. They might still post it on the website but ive heard the press conference was canceled.Note: Don't take this as fact, it is just something I heard.

I heard that they cancelled it too, and that kinda sux.If they ever make this announcement and it is s:uf wont this be the second year in a row they have brought in a clone?

Nope we didn't get anything last year Timmy (unless your counting Deja Vu which is reasonable

). Both V2 and Deja Vu were built in 2001.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I just found out that it was cancelled!!!!! It's because of the memorial service that happened today at noon! This sucks! There's no word on when it will be rescheduled either!!! They so got our hopes up now they're letting us down!

I am not lieing, it got canceled for today because of the memorial. The fact that nothing has been announced about the ride today backs up what I have heard.

Alright I found it on CB. Supposedly some guy who was going to the Press Conf. called to make sure that it was still happening because he had to take off of work. He then decided in his infinite wisdom to "tell all" that it was cancelled. Good for him.Give it 2 weeks. Who the hell cares anyway we all know what its going to be. Maybe a few different elements but who's to say that they were even going to tell us what they were?
