I'm already used to not seeing Deja Vu next to Demon and AE. It's almost like the loop and cobra roll were never there. So sad for people who didn't get to enjoy it or only rode it once like me but oh well time to move on.
QUESTION: Don't both towers have to be down for this weekend when the advance previews take place? Hopefully a lot of pictures will come in this weekend. When I go in May or possibly opening weekend...possibly...I will take tons. You guys did such a great job of keeping everyonce up-to-date on Deja Vu this winter. Greatly appreciated.

Yep, your right, me and my sister "FOB716" will be taking tons of pics.....Especially DJV an TDK!
but as for your question, they SHOULD be down by preview weekend, and I doubt I'll see it there this Saturday, you never know what will come from six Flags

Well DV was built while the park was open to the public, and looks like it will be dismantled when it's open to the public.
V2 was built also while the park was open, I remember sitting on the midway and watching them put the track up for the back spike. Was pretty interesting, at least for a techno nerd like me

^I envy you! I wish I could have seen that! Way to go, techno nerd! Well, I also doubt that the whole thing will be down on opening day. I don't know which I would personally prefer. Both would suck. If there was nothing left, then it's like an empty space. If there are still some remains, then it would be kina like a last goodbye...maybe I'd prefer that actually.
As of this afternoon both pulleys at the top of the towers are gone, and tower 2 is missing a large chunk of track. Didn't have my camera today, but will be out there again tomorrow afternoon.
Maybe it will all be down by opening day. With the nice weather today they will probably take a lot down. But then I think it is supposed to rain, so maybe that will delay it slightly. Maybe we will get a huge thunderstorm lol ok I won't get too off topic with my love of thundersorms LOL
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
Stupid trees you could see so much more if all those still-dead tress were not in the way. I always thought the park went a little overboard with all those trees.
Curse them for converting all that Carbon Dioxide into oxygen, Providing shade, and places for people to relax while beautifying the park. I mean really what were they thinking?
Why do we fall, Master Bruce?
So we can learn to pick ourselves up.
That was sooo funny. I meant that it annoys me that even when the leaves are not even grown in yet you still can't get a decent pic of anything decent because there are 1,000 trees planted next to each other. Did any1 realize how easy it would be to jump that small fence by AE? And the track is so low there...cool...wonder if anybody actaully hopped over b4 and spent some time in the park when it was closed. How may people are at the park on an average closed-for-the-season day?
Silverwood is saying on their website something like "We are hoping for a July opening but knowing what monster we bought it will probably be delayed so don't threaten us with lawsuits if the opening is pushed back" Deja Vu is still a long way from being all gone and in Idaho. I would love to see it flop for Silverwood selfishly. I say it opens August at the earliest.

You do realize what you are suggesting is trespassing? Not only could one be banned from all SF parks for that, they could also get jail time.
Well, Im sure someone has done it. I dont know the parks off season security but im sure its not that hard....and getting jail time doesnt stop some people in this world for doing stupid things.
Oh my gosh.... I don't check the forums for at least a week and this is what I come back to see. It looks so weird... definitely gonna look weird going back to the park when it is gone.
That is soo weird like oh my God I can't believe that those beautiful green and blue towers will not be there when I go back. I heard 40 trucks are delivering Aftershock to Idaho. I wonder if anything is left of Splashwater Falls?

LOL I needed that today!
Wow, though, at this rate, I will predict they will be gone by opening day!
