New 2012 puzzle solving thread

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Muck Finnesota on August 24th, 2011, 9:33 am
I think it would be very stupid of them to put EuroF, guests would not be happy seeing another 1 car coaster. RC, TDK and now this?

Of course, it would be right in line with what Six Flags has been doing the last few years: re-locating coasters, tossing in a repaint/on-board audio and marketing existing coasters as new, and cheap, single-car coasters. Wingriders and Dive Machines don't fall in line with those frustrating trends.

People will not be happy, and I hope SFGAm will notice that.

On the contrary, few people notice or care, and that, coupled with the significant coin saved by installing mice/euro-fighters/zac-spins as opposed to a full-sized coaster creates little/no incentive to do otherwise.
Keep Eurofighters in Europe

Okay now im 99.9% sure X-Flight is coming. The arms are obviously off the track. (hence, Wingrider.)
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.

The thing that makes me nervous about it maybe being other than a wingrider is the fact the arm is up. The original B&M wingrider concept art, the Raptor art, and the Swarm art all show the riders holding onto the restrains. It's not that a person can't hold up his or her arms on a wingrider, but what's in the puzzle would be very different from the concept art and every photo of I've seen of a wingrider.

What looks like the tilt of the rider, though, would appear to rule out a Zacspin, since it looks like the track will be curving from right to left in the photo.

Could still be a Eurofighter. I hope not. Put that in IW's place and give us something better at SWF's spot.

Wouldn't we see a OTSR in between the arm and the head?.......

I really REALLY hope it's not a eurofighter....A mega-lite would be cool though!
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!

To me it looks like a Wingrider, it just seems that way given the location of the puzzle piece. The entire puzzle would be used for a ride similar to a Dive Machine or Wingrider. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually excited if it is indeed a Wingrider.

I thik I got it!
That picture shows people flying off fast from Superman Ride of Steel coaster. That's why we can't see track or OTSR, we can only see the figers go zoom zoom zoom lol.
I think new for 2012 will be the first museum of roller coasters in the world. We will walk thru pictures and videos. We will learn how coasters work and etc. I think that will be fun. They will also have lots of Bench The Ride all over the museum :)
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!

I just don't understand how you would see the track right now when all you see is the end of an arm anyway. I don't think we see enough to conclude the arm is off the track. I do see how the arm being so far to the left could indicate a wingrider, so I'm really hoping, but I don't think the arm's too low on the puzzle for there to be a track even lower on the puzzle.

It would really help to have the piece to the right of the arm removed to see if there are OSTRs there are not, because you can't tell yet.

Still think it will be a first in the world type of deal. I say that with full confidence from the dippin' dots stand.

I'm going to buy my season passes at fright fest with the hope of them offering some kind of special ride time for the new coaster. Kinda like they did with the dark knight.:-) . Exciting times for the park. :-)

Eurofighter, Zacspin likely. Wingrider to big no room for it in the park they have to remove Demon if we get that. Then again it could be another water ride :D lets keep our hopes up that it is big big big for 2012.

I'm positive that we will not get a Zac Spin unless we get two coasters next year. I don't have any "inside sources", just at the right place in the park at the right time.

Take a very close look at the arm in the picture, if you look down and to the left of the elbow area, you can see an outline of what appears to be a cloud.

Very good observation! I do see what appears to be the curvature of the Earth or perhaps the horizon in the background. Maybe referring to soaring above the clouds?

EDIT: With that said, maybe that corner piece that has what we think says "2012" could be high up in the dark atmosphere or perhaps space.
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)

Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades

Scrapped. They destroyed that thing when they tore it down at SFMM.

Probably just a Skyscreamer.

^ I think we has being sarcastic

A Sky Screamer could be nice for 2013, but we're definitely getting a new coaster next year.

You never know. There are enthusiasts who want Tidal Wave back. Sarcasm doesn't translate well in type.
