^They could keep it. For example El Toro uses Viper's station at SFGAv. They might keep the queue as well. belived this queue was also used for Z Force
The queue and station itself is leftover from Z-Force. That's why it's kinda high up in the air, it had to accommodate Z-Force's vertical transfer track system.

If Power Dive, DejaVu, and Raceway/Splashwater Falls are indicators then my guess would be they leave the station and queue sitting there with nothing blocking it from view.
^ I think what Brad meant was when dejavu was being removed in 08, the left the ride sign post up that whole season along with the part of Vu's que that lead to the former switchback area which was replaced with 3 point challenge. Same thing with Power Dive's que when it was removed. I think they replaced with something called Power Alley or something like that, can't really remember, before they added King Choas.
I know they have recycled stations a few times. Z-Force to Wolf, I believe Big Top to DDD (not positive), and maybe a few others. I think if a coaster does replace that section it would receive a new station but you never know.

Power Alley was a few games set up inside the queue house for Power Dive where there used to be queue and a snack stand. It was a strange setup with some of the remains of the ride rotting in place behind it...
Also Power Dive's queue and part of the station was borrowed from The Edge, up until they put in King Chaos there were still Edge Footers everywhere around that area. Also I think the computer house from The Edge is still standing behind the fence in that area.

There is no reason to keep such an old station and queue. Reusing it for the third time would be ridiculous. The best thing to happen would be IF DDD was moved there. Which is still a possibility.
SFGAM had reused ride entrances/queues multiple times all over the park.^
I've been going there since I have been 13 and I am 42 now, these are just the ones I remember:
Demon: Ride is in the same spot as "Turn Of The Century" but I believe the queue was set up differently. You'll notice on the steps past the "Rock Formation" early in the line that there are two "blank" areas with mininal landscaping on the left. Those used to be queue lines for "The Demon" when it opened, and the average line for the ride was like 90-120 min.
Orbit: This was the same general area/queue for the long forgotten Trabant.
Entrance to Southwest Territory (North end before Orbit) was used exclusively as the entrance line for Rolling Thunder. If you look hard enough, next to train tracks/Hurricane Harbor entrance in line for Viper, you can still see one old lonely unused footer leftover from Rolling Thunder days.
Kidzopolis/Wiggles World/American Eagle queue/County Fair auditorium----Long before any rides were nearby, this was the semi-enclosed auditorium for outside performances. When they built the Eagle in '81, this tent-like structure was turned into the line for the brand new rollercoaster.
Funnel Cakes: (going counterclockwise in the park from American Eagle)---was the old station for the two-way sky ride- "Eagle's Flight/Delta Flyer"
Iron Wolf: Loading station was the old station for "Z-Force", and the queue (almost unused except in high-capacity days off to the left under the canopy) was the old, old loading queue for "Whirligig" before it got moved to near where Batman is nowadays.
King Chaos/PowerDive/The Edge: KC queue arranged differently, but both PD/Edge entrances were in the same approx. space.....you can still see old exit queue behind KC if you look closely.
Superman/Shockwave entrance, was the other half of the loading staion for the old "Eagle's Flight/Delta Flyer" skyride.
Dark Knight- first enclosed loading queue used to be another performance auditorium. The second eclosed section after the 'yawn' pre-show' was built for the ride exclusively.
These are just the ones I remember, I am going to have to look at some old maps of the park and see if there is anything else I have missed.
Random question, did Whirligig move before V2 was built? I could have sworn it was closer to the lighthouse and Yankee Clippers station. But then again, I was like 9 or 10 at the time.

Yes before V2 was installed, Whirligig was over near where the V2 station is now. You could basically walk across the wood bridge right to it. Years before that it was in its current location too.
Someone at IW's closing day mentioned that parts of Whirligig's queue in its original County Fair location were also rehashed for Z-Force (and subsequently Iron Wolf). Looking at one of Steven WIlson's photographs, this seems feasible.
^As far as the old Whirligig queue, you can see it on this map http://www.themeparkbrochures.net/maps/1984/margram1984.html. (Click on the bar for the pop-up window) I had almost forgotten about the old Ferris Wheel, which had an accident in it's 2nd year I think. No fatalities/no injuries, but a lot of bad press because someone took lots of pix of a woman dangling from one of the gondolas 30-40 feet aboveground after a bolt broke...what's worse was that all the park wanted to do was give her some comp. coupons for food and drink after the short ordeal. It was on the news in Chicago, but I couldn't tell you which of the big 3 networks actually aired it, tho I distinctly remember seeing it on t.v.
Industrial revolution was the old Trabant area, not The Orbit, I was mistaken. This is where the ropes course is located now.
Big Top (now Ricochet) used to be where Dare Devil dive now stands. It was elevated above the Six Flags Great American Speedway....and at one time this used to be a 'viewing area' for The American Eagle, to determine if you wanted to ride or just watch. You gotta remember, when the Eagle was built, it really was the biggest thing around.....lots of people were a little squeamish about tall rides back in 1981.
If I find more old stuff about queues, I will post them.
Actually, SFGAm announced on their FB page that Raging Bull, American Eagle, and Batman all reached 1 million riders this season first. Eagle has stayed popular but because it takes forever to get to the station, it's pretty much cleared by the time you reach the train.
I'm glad they are making progress on Wolf, now they just need to get the track up of X-Flight! They are predicting a bad winter, though it probably won't make much of a difference.

Nice post, James, but you're wrong on one item- the Eagle's Flight/Delta Flyer station in Orleans Place was actually on the site of the Condor. After they took down the skyride, they tore down the station, and I believe they moved the Yukon Yahoo himalaya type ride there, renaming it "Delta Flyer" like the name of the old sky ride. Then, I believe in '91, they removed that ride and put Condor there. It was the site of the old sky ride station, though- that's why it's up on a hill.

The Great American Eagle is already the best wooden coaster in the country. Haven't you seen the Tournament of Thrills???
I agree! I've been riding the Eagle since it opened, and it's still awesome. No other woodie like it- great first drop, airtime hills, and that huge helix that winds you up and shoots you out like a slingshot. We are blessed to have 2 great woodies, when many parks don't even have one good wooden coaster.
