It DOES require more maintnence and never really opens when the park does. This Tuesday's gonna be a nice day and guess what I'll be riding....As for it going slow with less water dummies, it'll still go like yuo saw it w/the dummies when people are on the ride.

Someone on the message board before this topic was deleted said that it is going to open on July 28th. I suspect that is when it is going to open. I think they still need to do more training and testing before they open it.Carlo

The ride ops they're training probably were DejaVu ride ops before so they dont need some extensive training. Its not a new ride, its just been down a looooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg time.It should open today ro tommorrow.

Didn't Deja vu used to have only two seats per row? Been so long since I've rode it that i dont remember. The pictures showed four seats per row.

In that picture, the orange seatbelts arent there (becasue it was added later). But do the seatbelts go across your lap. If so then that is completely stupid. Also, on vekoma.com under Giant Inverted Boomerang, the bottom left picture shows the train up close (on Stunt Fall though). But in that picture, theres a black thing above where you would fasten the seatbelt. What is that and do all the GIBs have 'em.

Yeah, the seatbelts do go across your lap... and if you look at this picture you will see that Deja Vu also has that thing on the restraints. I don't know what it is or what it's for.http://americacoasters.com/Photos/SFMM/16.php

There are two seatbelts. A orange seatbelt and a black seatbelt. The Orange seatbelt goes across your lap like in a car, and the black seatbelt goes from the seat inbetween your legs to the harness like on Batman.

Well, I guess my other post got scrapped, but my brother is at the park and he said that DeJaVu is open. They had the whole ride-op crew in the station and there were people at the line enterance directing people where to line up. The sign saying 'DeJaVu will not open today' was gone and they were testing the ride with people in it. This was a while back (12ish) though.
