Ok, if you have yet to send in your answers when it hits 10 pm CDT, then you will be allowed to send them in until 11pm CDT. BUT, you will have 1 point added to your score. Only 20 minutes left.

Update: It is now 10pm CDT! Contest is now over, except for the "absentee ballots"(which will add a point to those scores) and the answer to the final trivia question in my signature.(This will stay on until it is answered.

Update 2: The contest has now ended and results are being tabulated. Results will be released at the latest Sunday night. :D

Not to sound critical or anything, but wouldnt it have been easier to tabulate the answers as they came into you? I mean this idea was great in all but seriously, you've been stringing this along for a while now...

nevertheless good job on the test.

Awww...second place. Oh well, I was afterall the FIRST loser...HA!

I blame the Vengaboys for my loss :). I don't know crap about them. I didn't even know about the bonus questions....guess I should have read some more.

Nice little contest though Deja Vu The Ride.

Sometimes you just have to reverse your reverse answer and then sometimes reverse that.

Really, not one person got all 35 questions correct.

Plus, I was lineant on the answers. Some of you tried to find loopholes, but I didn't allow those as answers.(ig, the numbers on Giant Drop. Only 76,65,54,43,32,and 21 were counted. Sorry to those you put 1,2,3,4,5,6, or 7. Like I said, I wasn't trying to trick anyone. )

It will take me awhile to write up a final answer post so I'm not sure exactly when it will show. :)

Yeah, it took me even awhile to find who the members of the Venga Boys were. The writers were easy, mostly because I have the single.

What did you guys think was the hardest question, research wise?(Besides the Venga Boys ones. Those were obvious ones.)

Woo-hoo! I get signature recognition! (you like me! You like me! You really like me!) Thanks <DejaVu The Ride> for running such a fun contest... it certainly took my mind off more important things (namely, finals).

As for my strategy, I put the most obvious answer for each one, assuming that most people would attempt to find the least obvious answer. Well exceot for the few answers I found that I thought might truely be rare answers, such as "1. Name a ride currently at SfGam, which has the name of a ride, currently used at another Six Flags owned park." My answer: Roaring Rapids (At Six Flags Over Texas)

EDIT (to avoid double-posting):
These were the ones I had to research:
18. Name a theme/amusement park that is within 60 miles of SfGam.

22. Name a hotel/resort that is within 2 miles of the SfGam entrance.

35. Name an attraction that was featured(6 rides were featured.) on the Discovery Channel’s ‘Extreme Rides: 2003’.(FYI: Doesn't specifically refer to SfGam.)

Also, the clear mistake of the contest.

"Name a color of one of the flags on the Six Flags logo." There is not a red flag! There is red in the logo, but not on a flag. The one flag is pink.

Just a little thing that irritated me.

I didn't do any research, except for a google search to attempt to find the Vengaboys answer...I doubt I got it right though heh.

As for strategy, I just basically used as many kids rides as I could to answer the questions.

I'd say that the last one was the hardest question research wise. Took me a while to find it. There were a few others that were hard to find that I never found.

I thought the question about the logo that sponsors six flags with red was difficult, I knew coca-cola was a sponsor, but I thought most people would choose that, so I had to find the corporate sponsor's page in the Six Flags website. There was a whole list of sponsors to choose from! I think I picked "Hawaiian Island" or something like that

Hey hey 6th place! Not too bad for finishing the thing in less than a half hour. I only googled the Vengaboys and everything else I just took my best guess on.

Was Superman: The Escape one of the rides featured in that show? I just remember that every show I see on that channel has SOMETHING about S:TE.
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro
Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2
