In the conference it was mentioned that the waterpark will be next to the park and that the land across the highway was sold. So Im guessing that the water park will be in the bus lot. Im going to the park today and Ill try and find out some information about this.
Now all we can do is wait until the next conference to hear the details about the park.
I just have a feeling they will move the buses to where you pay the extra money to park up-close, because the room in the parking lot is getting limited. This is only if they do put it in the parking lot. If they got rid of the bus lot altogether, they would lose tons of dough.

/\ They havn't announced the waterpark yet, the conference call is for investors......once they announce it they'll give you all the info you want, until then nobody's going to tell you anything.
Also they said New Jersey is their biggest asset in many markets, I wouldn't be surprised to see coasters going there like they were at Magic Mountain (of course, rocket coaster).
True, but I thought normally nothing was announced to anyone. Was RC, S:UF, DV or anything else announced to the conference call first? Maybe I am wrong, but because we can all listen to the call, I thought this was taken as an announcement to the GP.
That was the announcement of the quarterly earnings for PKS, I have no idea why they decided to talk about plans for next year. Probably to gain more investors.

Has anyone thought about how this could have an effect on the water rides that are actually inside the SFGAm park? I am not starting rumors, but I think within the next few years you could see 1 of the water rides being torn down. Just a thought, I guess.

^ I only think that any water rides would come down if the water park were free with park admission (as at SFA). It would not happen if the park is extra charge because people who only cone to GAm and not the water park would still want to go on water rides. Plus, what kind of park doesn't have a log flume?
I'm excited to finally have a water park at six flags. It was a smart move for them, considering even Medevil Times is putting in a water park its a great way to keep the customers at six flags.

Do you think the park would be in operation for next year or is it going to be built next year. But to say that the water park will be for the 2005 season it would be already built. Wow I think I might of answered my own question.

When SF started the waterpark trend they charged them as separate costs, but now most new waterparks are Hurricane Harbor style parks like SFSTL has. They are included in your admission and advertised as two parks for the price of one. If this is the case for SFGAM, you can expect to see a small increase in admission and season pass prices for next year ( it was $5 increase at SFSTL, I think) The waterpark usually opens later and closes earlier than the main park during the day. This cuts down crowds in the main park during peak hours, but increases them at night. People leave the waterpark and start riding coasters.
If you get this kind of park, it will be a great addition that overall benefits those who only ride coasters. SFGAM is a larger market park and you may see them put it in as a separate park, but that wouldn't make sense with so many other waterparks in that general region (WI Dells, Magic Waters, etc)
As for half-naked chicks - they will only be in the waterpark not the main park as rules state that you must dress appropriately when returning to Six Flags from Hurricane Harbor - sorry rct2wizad360
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
I hope we don't just get a small water park filled with a lot of little things and one mane thing. I'm hoping that we get a mix of of both little and big. If that makes sence

Hey, with all of this water park excitement, I almost forgot that tonight is Coasters After Dark! That brings me to another idea: Do you think that there will be any special events for season pass holders (to the waterpark if separate, or theme park if the same) at Hurricane Harbor? They could have "slides after dark" or something like that. What do you think?
SFGAm Rules wrote:I doubt that this would happen, but I really hope that they don't destroy a part of our park to put in a water park as PGA did with Yankee Harbor.
Is that a pay waterpark, or just a pay one admission, get two parks for one admission?
How far is MM waterpark from the actual park?
