Yeah makes sense. Plus in all the years I've been going to SFGAm I've only seen either 1 or maybe 2 people in wheelchairs. Its just a pain in the butt to go to the park if you're injured or in a cast/wheelchair etc. The only plus to it is that if someone in your group is actually using crutches or a wheelchair, your group gets to go to the front of the line. :D

Flash Pass on Terror Twister 2? That would be interesting... I wonder how many people would actually use that as their selected ride. I just always assumed people rode TT2 while queued through FP for Raging Bull, etc.

Makes me happy to know TT2 is so popular you guys could see a Flash Pass entrance at it.

Eagerly awaiting Oct 1 and to see you all post your reactions of TT2 '11.

I'll be attending the Fright Fest Preview Night. I hate carrying a camera around, but maybe I will. Regardless, I'll post a full TR the following morning. (Like I always do, every year).

For this Massacre Medical Center and The Ruins of Fenrir , it says near County Fair station area. Are they going to use Iron wolf line for this, or are they going to use the train station itself?

So is the train a dead duck after 17th - I would think so since they have that concert still on the stage in Hometown Square plus about this Medical Center thing.

The Scenic Railroad WILL be open for all of Fright Fest.

Massacre Medical Center is a haunted house that will be in MagiQuest. I am guessing Ruins of Fenrir will be a small themed section of the County Fair midway. They definitely won't be having people going in Iron Wolf's queue.

Railroad will probably close between 6 and 7 and probably won't open on Friday nights to accommodate the night time shows of Dead Man's Party and Full Moon Rocksplosion.

No theme this year. It will be normal operation. I would guess they chose not to theme it due it not running Friday nights and because of how much construction will be going on around the tracks.

I'm surprised they are actually running the trains this year since they have a logical excuse with 2 constructions sights happening right next to the tracks.

I was just as surprised. But no complaints here, I will take full advantage of Railroad for construction pictures :D

"WILL be open" should probably be replaced with "IS SCHEDULED to be open" And Schedules can always change. Not necessarily a bad thing, I don't believe it was scheduled to operate last year, and they ended up opening it on select days. But I could be wrong about that.

So, there's something that I just noticed for Fright Fest. On Sat and Sun, it's open at 11 AM instead of 10 AM! Huh??

They are going to get a lot of complaints for that one...

They have no problem opening up at 5 PM on Fridays. I doubt it'll be a big problem as they've been doing it for years before.

I think that it is a fantastic move. I'd even be okay with 12pm-12am (like Cedar Point). Fright Fest during the day is lame anyway. The change gets us more time at night.

I DEFINITELY prefer the park to open later so it can close later. More nighttime fun!! I have a question. Isn't Fridays the slowest days of Fright Fest? Only open for 6 hours which I'm assuming most people don't think thats worth it. Plus its kinda a school night so kids are getting out of school or having after school programs or night classes for the college folk. Just wanna know.

Correct, Friday's are slower than Saturday's and Sunday's. Doesn't mean Friday's are dead though. :D

I have a question regarding Giant Drop of Doom. Is there going to be much theming? If so, will it be mostly in the line since not much can be at the loading station? I don't remember riding it when it was Hellevator so I don't know if it will be similar.
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)

Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades

I am assuming the theme will be similar to Hellevator - I mean, how much can they really do? Place a speaker at the top making "noises of the ride malfunctioning" and filling the line beneath the drop with fog. The soundtrack it had was fantastic as well. Of the few years they did it here are some of the songs it played...

"Aerials" by System of a Down
"Breathe" by The Prodigy
"Change (In The House Of Flies)" by Deftones
"Dramatica" by Orgy
"Even Deeper" by Nine Inch Nails
"Eye" by The Smashing Pumpkins
"Into The Void" by Nine Inch Nails
"Klavier" by Rammstein
"Shame" by Stabbing Westward
"Why" by Stabbing Westward

Just to name some :D

In detail, what exactly did the "ride malfunctioning" sound like? I'll definitely have to try it out!
