I have been playing around with Google and bing maps and think i hit the nail on the coffin with the theory of Chang ending up in the SSA/ go carts foot print. I think if this is the case, HH will have a new and much more convienet entrance. There was a little difference in the angle of the picture betwen google and Bing this version of Chang was a little easier to clean up the footprint. Tell me what you think.

This is pretty much what alot of us thought it would be going to. Only logical area without removing a bunch of stuff except a useless SSA building and moving the Go-Karts.

Pictures show the staircase being placed in the parking lot. I'm so excited to see more coming!

EDIT: My bad, I didn't see the previous page. Apologizes.

I would much rather see it replace the rapids than go in the front of the park. If it does go in the front of the park however, I hope it gets painted Blue with white supports (Shockwave/Z-Force Style) & Gets Named The Great American Scream Machine. It's actually always amazed me that SFGAM hasn't used that name for any of it's coasters yet.

^They already got American Eagle. Isn't that coaster patriotic enough?

Oh Definately, but a second patriotic themed coaster couldn't hurt (Heck we already have 3 Super Hero Coasters) If Chang does indeed go to the front of the park, I would much rather see A Nice, Blue Patriotic theme, rather than some stupid, mis-placed Bizzaro/Green Lantern Look. Plus the name of the Park is Great America, so the name Great American Scream Machine would fit it perfectly, especially right in the front of the park.

^Actually I kinda agree with him, I'm sick of "licensed" coaster names as well. Pull a superhero or a pop culture figure out of a hat, slap some signs down and add some special effects, then call it a coaster. Then clone it at other parks.

[cough]Tony Hawks Big Spins, Terminator Salvation the Coaster, Dark Knight Coasters, Bizarros, etc[/cough]

What happened to originality?

As long as they don't keep it yellow, all will be fine.
The Mr. Six at the park is REALLY creepy

^ That is a work of art my friend! Chang would look amazing if it got a Shockwave Paint treatment.

I'd love to see them keep Chang's current colors. The ride looked great on a sunny day.

They aren't EXACT Shockwave colors, I modified them a little to make them fit the B&M style. The blue is a little darker, and the supports are more grey instead of white.

But yeah, the colors look awesome!

Now that you mention it, it does look that way....not the track, but the supports. (The track seems very close)
^But then again, I can say that, because I've never seen Shockwave in-person.

I just noticed this too, there is a section of track near the trains' wheels that you missed recoloring.

Send that photo to the proper people, maybe they'll actually do it! I would imagine its not too late to change stuff up just yet. Seeing those colors in the sky again on the approach to the park would be the most amazing thing ever!

^ Totally agree. I would love to pull in to the park and see a nice bright blue coaster to welcome us. May i suggest a name instead of Shockwave: the sequeal?

I coud see the sign into the ride right now. Aftershock A sweet name with a small but clear nod to the original.

I really do miss Shockwave, SUF just doesn't make up for it for me.

Well when Shockwave opened in 1988 the track was a very dark blue. Almost a navy blue. It had just faded badly over the years.

Even though it had faded, it still looked great. A ride that looked better with time, from a distance that is
