I'll be honest, there were so many mistakes & autocorrects that I clearly didn't remember what I edited & didn't haha WOW but I'm good with no standup.
(In my opinion) our park needs 4 more coaster types to round out our line-up:
- Large Looper - I'd say Iron Wolf was ours (After Shockwave's removal, of course) because it had the largest loop in the park, and 2017 will be 6 seasons without a large looper. Even then, Iron Wolf dwarfs in size compared to true large loopers, like say a floorless coaster with 7 inversions.
- Full Circuit Launched Coaster - 'Nuff said
- Ejector Airtime Machine - If Goliath had a longer layout using the Wilderness Theater's, I bet it could've easily had some amazing ejector airtime, and alot of it.
- Giga Coaster - This one could be combined with the ejector airtime machine. I really want to break that 300 ft. barrier with a coaster
We could also use another family coaster (Spinner?) but TDK (And according to schoup, Joker) satisfies for now
Joker, as we have discussed, will make us even more well rounded. I sadly don't think we will ever get a "completed collection" because something is going to leave for something. It almost always does. I would def as I am always saying, love to see that giga. But there are several things I'd love to see at our park with that.

Fixed that for you
Rather than a floorless, I actually wish B&M (Or another company) would give the stand-up design another try.. They finally improved the design with Scorcher and that was it. I suspect if SFA got their Stand-Up in 2001, more might've been built.
I came up with a new stand-up train design (Just a quick 5 minute drawing in Paint, not the best quality)
Instead of the huge OTSR's and Bicycle Seats, there are now:
-Belly Bars -Leg Restraints
I'm not sure if this would work or not, but I'm guessing (Never been on a stand-up) that it'd be a more comfortable ride than with the current restraint system
I also don't know if a stand-up would be popular after the history Iron Wolf had, but maybe the GP would give it a try. I wouldn't mind the first Launched Stand-Up
Stand up coaster wasn't the first thing I saw in that picture.

Couldn't agree more! ESPECIALLY when it comes to a mega looper! Seeing as how Mantis and Vortex are both being converted from stand up to Floorless...... It does make me sad that the Chang plans fell through at Great America. That would have been awesome if we did end up getting Chang back in 2011 and it was transformed into a floorless! But oh well! Perhaps they have something else up their sleeves in regards to a new mega looper.
It just seems so weird that the #3 Six Flags park doesn't have a multi-looper, it almost seems like a park staple.
It doesn't even have to be a floorless, just a regular sit-down (Or Stand-Up ) Multi-Looper with a huge vertical loop would do. It could be B&M, Mack, Intamin, whatever.
Here's something I've been thinking about recently:
I love Batman: The Ride, but what if the park was able to squeeze a Giga coaster in it's spot? The lift could generally be in the same place as Batman's, maybe the station could be towards Triple Play (POSSIBLE Hometown Square entrance), it could reach the maximum height requirement (I thought it was 329.99 but I've heard 310), it could use Winner's Circle Go-Karts and maybe Little Dipper's spaces for ejector airtime hills. Obviously being smack in the middle of the park it'd give pretty good views, and it could become the park's staple coaster. If located in Yankee Harbor, it could pick up a sea-storm theme (Typhoon?). If Hometown, probably some generic name. Maybe if the entrance was in Yukon Territory it could be named Sasquatch.
(Btw, let's continue this discussion in the Wish List thread )
Remove Batman?, HOW DARE YOU?!? But seriously, even though X-Flight isn't 60+ mph, I think they consider it as our modern B&M megalooper, especially since they chose to go with it instead of bringing Chang here, which was a good choice and trade off. The Joker may be just the first ride that S&S builds for this park in the coming years, and I think Six Flags will want to do more work with S&S, Mack, and Premier before ordering more expensive B&M coasters on a consistent basis.
I'm still here waiting for gargoyles (12:20am) haha but isn't it sooo weird walking up to Mardi Gras from Yankee Harbor without the bridge?! Gives you a better idea of how this ride will be located.
Awesome, thanks. I can't wait till track/supports arrive so we can see if our renderings hold up. I really hope all three of us have a slightly different color scheme. But that's being too hopeful haha I do like Over Texas' color scheme. We haven't seen too much or at all if I'm not mistaken from New England.

I think you're overestimating how much space batman takes up and underestimating how big a giga coaster would be... Raging Bull is about as compact as they get for a hyper coaster and that still takes up way more space than Batman. Giga Coasters are massive. There's no way we'd be able to fit one in the middle of the park.
Had any one else thought with the large space being opened up with the new Yankee harbor path that jesters and/or buzzy bees could be brought back to the park using the new space.
Knowing Great America, I am sure they want to find a way to keep JWR. I say they will find room for Jesters even with Joker being there. But who knows right? Busy bees should go across from hometown park with a tiny new kiddie coaster
I did see that. Katy said right now it's just goin to storage. But she did also say the bridge was coming down & there's that awesome lie haha sooooo we will see ;D
