Where has it been confirmed that the water park is 24 acres?

I would just like you guys to know that on the great america website, if you go to park info then nearby parks, there is a picture of a tube ride at a waterpark and it says "look what is right next door."

Wouldn't that be false advertising?

First off, until I see something backing it up, no where has anyone announced the park would be 24 acres. We don't know the size yet. And as I've mentioned, just because you have $35 million doesn't mean you have a HUGE park -- it all depends on how they decide to spend it, and I would rather they start with a smaller, quality park.

Secondly, the picture that says, "Look what is right next door!" is a stock picture that the company uses. Look at the pictures of Batman on that site, and realize:

- The ride is still black
- The ride pictured is not in SFGAm (in fact, it is a mirror image of that Batman)
- The second picture has been rotated 90 degrees.

Then V2 is doctored pictures of Superman: Ultimate Escape.

And perhaps most tellingly, look at Superman:

SixFlags.com wrote:SUPERMAN - ULTIMATE FLIGHT, the newest generation of roller coaster, joins Six Flags Great America's collection of thrills this Spring!

By that, it looks like they are getting a new B&M for next year!

Never trust the Six Flags Web site to make sense on anything.

Hes right.^ The only thing to trust are buying the tickets.lol. Because the site is not updated or anything like that. But once offical plans are said and when the season is over you will see water park information on there. in my opinion Also have you guys gone to six flags lately? If you have do you see any changes next to ragin bull?

Also, damn you guys stop being so mean to those people! I mean like then there will be a fight and then either this chat room is going to go or somebody else is. And thats not fair if the other person leaves because of you! Yeah I know it can get annoying to look at their posts but if it really bothers you dont read there posts at all. You say to read the forum rules well you should to it says not to make any fights and look what you guys are saying. Yeah I got into fights here to but then I stoped I did not start them at all! And on the index page for the forum listings it said members please read! I suggest you Binks Drake to read it because Im basically talking to you and SFGaMownz. :)

Im not starting a fight. In fact Im basically ending it because everybody here should get along and they arent doing that and they dont get warnings or anything like that. But if I do it then I get in trouble so basically dont get mad at me for doing a good thing.

I realize that the picture is not what is going to the park. I'm just saying that the nearby waterpark thing hasn't shown up until recently.

And good job LatinoobsesedSfGam at stopping the huge fight. Do you have any tips for us on how to stop future fights :?:

I don't think we're going to see anything happen to the Go Karts or the "major attraction" that is to be removed until after the season ends. Ron said look for the *lot* to be transformed in two or three weeks, not the rides.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

If the ride you said is closed....( go karts SSA ) did it have a sign saying this ride will not open today because if it does than that will get the boot. Why because they did that for Shockwave. :( Boy do I miss that ride.

That ride had the will not open today sign before they decided to take it out.

O really? Well what Im trying to say is that if it has that sign for SSA and Go Karts then you know for a fact that it will be tore down. I dont think skey track will be torn down.
