No, because if this was TPR, you would have been banned, Cole would have been banned, and everyone else would had anything to do with the tread would have been banned.
How have the crowds been lately now that IW's removal has been announced? Also how are the lines now on Wolfie. I think I can imagine them being real long now.

Nice try though
No problem. Just love pissing off the douche bag mods on this forum.

I had no plans to visit GAm anytime soon. It's unfortunate that this park needs to subtract rides in order to earn my money. This will be the last time for a long time- it's been a steady, unfortunate downward trend since 2002.
I do not get what you are trying to say. Six Flags Great America, like any park, removes rides at times when they become too costly to maintain and do not warrant more money to be put into them. They are either unpopular(Iron Wolf) or a maintenance nightmare (Splashwater Falls, Deja Vu). Every park does this. Not just Six Flags Great America. Why has it been a downward trend? Since 2003 we have added:
Superman Mardi Gras Hurricane Harbor Another Water Park expansion Little Dipper Dark Knight Buccaneer Battle Sky Trail ....
Now, I know you may hate most of these. But HH and Superman were successful additions and are very popular to this day. The park has to think about three things always:
Capacity Families Thrill Seekers
I think you very much get what I was trying to say, but thank you for compiling that excellent list of water rides and wild mouse coasters.
It's novel that anyone outside of corporate board/shareholders worry themselves over Six Flags catering to families. You're not getting a cut, and this isn't Roller Coaster Tycoon. Especially with a park that has no competition in a major metropolitan area- it wouldn't matter if Shockwave clones were added every other year. People will still always come back to Great America, so let us drop the whole ridiculous "concern about families" approach. Let park management worry about park managing.
Well be grateful that you got those additions as the folks down in Largo MD. didn't even get HALF as much over that same time period. The last major ride(for adults) they got was blizzard river back in 2003.
I typically ride Dominator on the outside left & don't notice any difference in roughness,I think it varies more by what row you're in & how well the trains are maintained than anything else as Dominator has gotten a bit rough & has a rattle more near the back of the train but the first couple of rows are still smooth.

Earn your money? Thanks for not taking the time out of your pampas busy schedule to go to the park., and making my waits at SFGAm longer by having your presence at the park.
Let me clarify myself and respond to your post.
Correct, earn my money. Isn't that the purpose of a business? In the real world I vote for things with my wallet. I'm one of those that visits parks for rides and don't really give a damn about getting a fuzzy Disney experience. I think ride-ops are incredibly annoying when they do anything other than check restraints and dispatch trains (read: getting the crowd into it), I don't care about theme, parades, shows, Halloween events, etc. I realize I'm probably in the minority. With that said, what has this park done that would be of interest to me since 2001?
My pompous schedule isn't so pompous. I work Mon-Fri from 6am-5pm, am a volunteer tutor on Tuesdays after work, and am beat to hell by the weekend. I don't go to the park on a whim because I have nothing better to do like I did when I was younger.
If you are crying about the removal of Iron Wolf, then your in a very slim minority.
I mentioned that I'm visiting the park because Iron Wolf is being removed. That will be the reason for my visit. Am I disappointed that the ride is leaving (and what will presumably 'replace' it)? Yes, because I like intense rides- but it was plain to see that this was going to eventually happen, and it's a sound decision by the park given the public's opinion of the ride. I'm a bit surprised it lasted as long as it did. No crying here, just one less reason to visit after this year.
Seriously, I think that car of 2 adults and 3 kids taking up a parking spot that would have been taken up by you is far an away better for Six Flags anyway.
Cool, but that makes no sense.
The purpose of what I've written is to make clear that I'm well aware of why SFGAm has taken the approach they have since 2001. Do I like it (am I required to)? No, but that's my issue to deal with.
^I was thinking the same thing myself. I guess the park figures that they don't need to since the ride has such a bad reputation, people will be pleased to see it being torn down this fall. However, I still think they should post a sign outside the rides que stating the final day to ride IW.
When Shockwave was removed instead of Whizzer, did the park announce the removal formally? Or did internet fans know way before the general public? Not everyone checks out the Six Flags Facebook. They just don't give a damn.
^There was a sign right by the entrance of the Whizzer. Also, ride ops are telling people through speaker systems that Iron Wolf is going to close.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Shockwave closed because of an accident and never re-opened. It sat there not operating for a few weeks afterward then Six Flags announced its removal.
I thought something went through the seat, and no one was sitting there - for Shockwave. That's why there was no injuries.

^ You're missing the point here. ShockWave's "incident" is why ShockWave closed. Public outcry did not save Whizzer, ShockWave did. They just used the public outcry excuse because it sounds much better.
