KC and giant drop are the only rides I haven't rode. I will never ride giant drop, but I have yet to ride KC.

I've asked John Curty, who manages the ride operations and two different maintenance personnel about the supposed water jets. There is no capability for KC to do anything more with water than it does now. There are no water jets.

I rode all the flats (with new cycles) when i went to fright fest this Saturday.

KING CHAOS: much better a more adrenalin pumped and less painful ride.

Revy: the beginning is kinda blah, but the second half goes so high and fast that well you get pushed back in your seat twice as much as the old cycle... big improve meant.

CONDOR: yes condor has a new cycle... i think... you go up ... stay at the top and you go slower in cycles.. then you speed up and go twice as fast as you did when you went up and go down twice as fast too. then it gets weird a few feet from getting back down the entire ride stops, then it slowly lowers you to the station. ...I likes it more than the original !

The last two time i have visited the park i noticed the king was down. 1 harness was up and the ride look to be some what forward (not in the loading position). How long is the King going to be down?

Giant Drop is not that bad at all, it's mostly the suspense that gets you. It's always different on how long they hold you up there for, and then the drop is quite a rush, but a quick one. After riding it several times, I'm use to it.

As for KC, like a few people said before, they'd get sick if they rode it, so would I.

That is a manually operated top spin 2, and that was done especially for a coaster event at the park.

Besides all that craziness, it is hard to beat a manually operated Top Spin.

Ive never been on king chaos and wanna know how it feels. See i dont have the most sensitive stomach but dont have a stomach of steel either. Depending on the ride, I can get nauseous. Does it make anyone sick here? I want exact details on how it feels. Can anyone answer this??

I can answer, First of all the restraints are really tight and if your hanging upside down for a long time it's pretty uncomfortable. I get pretty sick on it, actually I felt so sick one day my friend video taped me on the ground because he thought I was gonna throw up! Flat rides that spin do make me sick, but I handle all the roller coasters fine. It feels like the Zipper ride at a Carnival if you've ever been on that exept much more predictable and less flips. It's my second favorite flat ride at Great America.

I simply cannot ride King Chaos during Fright Fest. It causes me to have some pretty bad back pain. I had to leave the park early once due to King Chaos, I think it's just the whole ride moving faster, more flips, and a longer hold, just gives me a jarring feel.

I think King Chaos and Revolution are the only ones with different cycles. Mostly because They're carnival models, and are easy to change.
