They were handing new ones out at Goliath media day @ SFoG (GREAT coaster, btw, and a great event..maybe one day I will post a TR ) and I heard rumors that they might be rolling them out again to all Six Flags parks. I hope this turns out to be true.
I have one of those maps from Cedar Point and I have always wanted to get one for Great America. I sure hope so.

^No, the rails are now like a very dark grey color... at least they were when I rode it.
And yes, those are Intamin deathtraps... I mean... trains (at least they're not like Batman: The Escape's trains. Ive heard horror stories about them.)

Look at IW, doesnt look like it's facing the wrong way? It looks like the break section is going AGAINsT the peak instead of with it. I think that its going into the corckscrew or its coming out of the station. I'm not sure but it looks funny to me.
yeah, the brochure pic is mirror image, as coming off the lift on IW you take a turn to the left, in the pic the ride is to the right of the lift. They probably did that so the track which your eye will naturally follow runs right into the water park photo, simple mental way of advertising both parks effectively

^Well, actually, that same picture has been in past park maps and brochures, just not on the front from what i remember. I think it was the 2003 map that had it next to the Rides and Attractions page. Either way, they must have a different reason for reversing the picture.

Who has the park map from 1999? Well if you do take a close look at the cover as they say its "Raging Bull" supposably. They used IW for the cover and changed the logo on the train to say RB. The picture on the park map cover for 1999 is the same on thats on the cover for this seasons. Their both IW but on the 1999 cover, it doesnt show the back ground, just the train going down the track. A year later for the 2000 season they used that same picture inside their park map. I got both of the park maps if you want to see them.

^ Ill try too. For Coasterdude 12-2, triple play is not operating this year but it MIGHT be back next year, I think there sending it to another SF parks but you can call Human Resources theyll tell you.

^TP's center hub is at SFOT. At the end of the season, the part will be sent back here and TP will be re-assembled. Then SFOT's Trioka thing will get a new center hub.
That's what Ive heard will happen.

At least were getting it back and are we the only SF park that has a Triple Play style ride?
O and this is the regular picture of IW inside the Park Map for 2000 same as the one on 2006 cover. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a291/xxlatinogueroxx/d6de43b1.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>
And heres the Park Map cover for the 1999 season introducing Raging Bull, notice any similarities? They use the same exact picture just blur the train image to make it look like its going faster. But you can see the color of the peoples shirts are the same, same harnests, and same train. <img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a291/xxlatinogueroxx/d81b69d5.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>
Sorry for the bad quality pix

I really wonder why SF thinks it's cheaper to photoshop other rides to make them look like our rides (ex. S:UF) than to just take a picture of the ride itself.

Thank you, I couldn't remember what year it was that had that on the inside.
Also, in regards to the question about why Six Flags uses photoshop instead of getting the photo, it's probably just a lazy issue. When i use photoshop, it's easier just to add a picture that is already on my file than to go out and snap a new picture, upload it, and then add it to the document. It's lame and lazy, but that is most likely why.
