It would be stupid to remove IMS and Logger's Run. Sure, a floorless would look nice there, but it would be a stupid move to do that. Maybe not so much if they relocated them to a different area in the park, but that's not so likely.

Dang you people! You all sound so selfish, "Take down IMS and Logger's Run! No one likes them anyway." FYI, Loggers and IMS still get a hell of a line on hot summer days. Just because we now have a Waterpark doesnt mean everyone is gunna wanna bring a bathing suit and change for one lousy ride on a waterslide. Common sense people please!

I would say flats for the thing is that the area across from The Orbit has turned into in my opinion, "a wasteland." SFGAm has more open spaces to put those things if they wanted. For instance, the area by the Southwest ampitheatre, or where the Rainmaker show was would be good (or just to dump them).

I also think they should clean up the American Eagle tent. All those lines on the right side are a waste. I gave a listing of the flats before, so I won't mention them again.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"

^I agree. The Eagle tent needs something done to it. And Hometown Park would be a great spot for a flat.

PlaneA, where do you expect SFGAm to get the money for all these addtions? Folks, this isnt RCT 3 here, you cant just type in a code and boom more cash this there.

While a floorless would be awesome where IMS and LR are, its probably not going to happen.

I would definately like a new aTTraction, but thats not realisitc.
But then I realize that this thread was meant not to be realistic. TK started it and he made it that way.
So some people want some things they can't have, thats what RCT is for in the first place.
Anywayz,
Kind/Name/Where
Flat/Screamin' Banshee/Right outside of the loony tunes lodge
If I was in charge over at sfgam I would think more about traffic flow to rides. Build a great new ride towards the back of the park, so that the flow in the beginning of the day isn't so slow. Then think about patterns that people would walk, they want RB first, so they rush there, then get hungry, so have food really close to the exit etc.
Every coaster should have at least one flat right by it. This way non-riders can have something to do, eh?
Welp, I'm done fantasizing and rationalizing.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

you know there's alot of room in the employee parking lot, and the hill or hills that Shockwave is sitting on, just remove the rusting blue track, demo half the employee parking lot or build a new one, and use that space for a coaster. 8)

Galvan I what I was asking for is not as much as you think. Research it and youll see. It would add to be cheaper than a coaster installtion.

Even though I'm a coaster fan I'd still like to see SFGAm put in a good interactive Dark Ride similar to what Universal has.

Not that it would be realistic at all, but the rusting blue steel is already gone.

B&M Floorless/ Carousel Knight/ In Carousel Plaza where the Pictorium and Carousel Plaza Gifts (CPG) is.

What will happen:

CPG and Pictorium are torn down. A new building by Carousel Hats will be constructed, and it will be a new CPG. CK would be light blue and a dark purple. It will offer 9 inversions, but only a first drop of a 170 feet. Of course this is my personal idea, so please respect it.
Ugh.

I think that the park needs to do a lot with Yankee Harbor. I still think it should be re-themed to New York Harbor. That way they could incorporate the Gothum City Themeing without ruining the "Great America" themeing. They could fit in Another Outdoor Stage, and like six more food stands or gift stands. Plus I do think that they should take down IMS...maybe not Loggers Run...And build a Floorless there.

Well, looking at those pictures that T.K. posted, I think that there are about two or three options:
#1: http://www.weezil.com/sfgam/sfgam21.htm
The Splashwater Falls/Raceway/Demon area. Remove Splashwater Falls, and design a coaster that would sit on top of Raceay/Demon/and Eagle Blue's helix. PGA did something similar with their Grizzly, but kept it confined to the space inside of the Raceway loop.

#2: http://www.weezil.com/sfgam/sfgam20.htm
Build a coaster that would be confined to the area of the black pavement in the entrance plaza, the yellow striped area next to Stargate, andthe first two rows of parking. They did this on the other side with Superman/Shockwave, so why couldn't there be a coaster on the other side of the entrance as well? Keep in mind that the Huricane Harbor path will probably also be right next to Winner's Circle.

#3: http://www.weezil.com/sfgam/sfgam20.htm http://www.weezil.com/sfgam/sfgam16.htm
This is the most unlikely due to the houses on the other side of the street. but a long and narrow type coaster could fit on that strip of grass between the parking lot drive, and that street. The station could be near where Eagle Red's helix is, and the entrance to the ride could be at the end of Southwest Territory, near where the Cool Zone is.

Just my thoughts on locating future coasters.
Finally Coaster Season!!

Since you asked to respect it...I think Pictorium is going to be around for awhile. Those seats do fill.

Thank you for respecting my opinion and I respect yours. Does the Pictorium actually fill up? I usually ignore it, due to the fact of the movies. Isn't the one they shown this past season shown before? If it is popular, then I guess it should stay, but do people actually spend their time there?
Ugh.

The Pictorium is that big building across the midway from Sky Trek Tower and Stargate... I believe it has 'Pictorium' painted right on the side. It is an Imax theater, and yes the movies are free. But they are usually not very exciting.
