Obviously its one of two things if it won't be open. Staffing issues or ride issues, neither of which the patrons care about, therefore they will get upset. They could care less about the problems of the park, they just want to ride! I myself could care less, really, because if it's open, the queue will be full. If it's full, its a long line. If its a long line, I skip it. There are better things to do than wait for a coaster for that long, like ride other ones multiple times when you would have been waiting for one!

Greatamerica2003-Are you working at Six Flags this season? Is there anymore information about Deja Vu you could share? Since Raging Bull is my favorite ride is there any information? you could share about that?

Im honestly not expecting huge lines on Opening Day, last year during opening day if memory serves me correctly Deja Vu's line was about 45 minutes all day long. More or less depending on break downs, but I think Superman will hopefully have better capacity. So im predicting about half hour to 45 minute lines for Superman (more or less depending on break downs) on opening day unless they really start advertising for the ride really soon. Because quite frankly I haven't seen anything about it on T.V. since it was announced in February. But hey, im not Miss Cleo so I could end up being really really wrong. :)Edit: Err didn't read the post correctly, were you refering to Deja Vu's line T_Biggs. When I originally posted this I thought you were refering to S:UF's line for some odd reason. After re-reading though, I think I have realized im dumb so continue talking about Deja Vu if thats what you were talking about lol.

Every offseason the trains are not nessisarrily rehabbed, but rather inspected, taken apart and put back together.

Yes papas, aka REHAB.Bull lover - Other than Vu not opening on time, no. Other than Bull having another pretty much flawless season (save the normal mechanical things) no. Sorry. But no info for a ride is a good thing.

I haven't rode Deja Vu yet. Last summer my brother and cousin waited in line for only a hour and a half, but I managed to ride the Eagle backwards twice, and forwards once. even got a ride on the Bull before they were done. I will ride it this year especially if Superman is open.

As for Deja Vu im not counting on it being opened though, ive heard so many different rumors though I don't know what to believe. If it is open though, then great but im not going to get my hopes up. Same goes for a few other rides.
What other rides were rumored not to be open?

I certainly wouldn't wait three hours for it now,I went through that at the end of Fright Fest 2001...Don't forget that crews have to also be trained on HOW to load people. The wing configuration is a bit confusing looking to us coaster junkies, just imagine how it looks to a first time rider. They've got simple diagrams showing us how to keep our heads against a headrest, why not toss a simple one up for DV? And a warning about broken legs somewhere in the queue might not be a bad idea either...

I went to the pass processing today and there was a crane by deja vu. I am assuming that it is just for moving the trains but I couldn't get a good look. They had that section of the park blocked off.

The crane was probably only as tall as the cobra roll, if that. It didnt look very heavy duty. Thats why i think its for the trains.

Isn't it a boomerang? Not a cobra roll... A cobra roll is like on Scream or Medusa... On a boomerang, the track kind of crosses over itself (like on Deja Vu). On a cobra roll, it doesn't cross.

OK... You can call it a Cobra Roll if you want... It even says on one of those signs in the queue line that it is a boomerang though!Boomerang: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery746.htm?Picture=2Cobra Roll: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery760.htm?Picture=5

I thought Vekoma called it a "Butterfly turn"Anyway I like Cobra Roll better. I thought a boomerang was the element on Shockwave right after the mid-course brake run? Can't the companies just use the same names?
