I waited in a half hour line for Demon with completely full switchbacks and the line to the ropes course.

Not at all.

Nope.

It's funny that I never noticed Demon's roughness the first few times I rode it. That was maybe early 2000s. It was also most certainly the most appealing coaster with inversions to my younger self. Demon naturally is a good gateway inversion coaster. It's also iconic. Sure the wait times are often short, but honestly I don't think it's as starved as it seems. What about Eagle some days?

Ok

Depends how you ride.
RollingCoasting wrote:Did you wait more than 5 minutes for the ride?
No. I've waited a good 45 minutes once.
RollingCoasting wrote:Did you get a head/and or earache after riding?
No. Ride Ninja at SFStL. It'll make Demon look like a new B&M with butter encrypted tracks.
RollingCoasting wrote:Did you hear people say they hate this ride when you got off?

Not at all! My 41" brother is jumping out of his shoes he wants to ride so bad.

I'm honestly think you want Demon to leave because of a personal experience. I'm not trying to be offensive if I am.

And if Great America had plans to remove Demon, they would've done it in 2011 to extend X flight

Really? I heard a bunch of people say that they hated it when I got off :?: I thought a lot of people on this site hated it for roughness. Guess I was wrong. I didn't think I based it off personal experience, but if you guys all like it, I guess I did :?

^So you think Demon is rough and you don't care for it, but yet you have an avatar pic of T2 which is a complete torture chamber.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

^ Actually I've never been on an SLC and I'm aware that they're rough. I just like the picture.

Middle of June this year, and multiple times before it.

I don't get why you think Demon is some throw away coaster that nobody cares about. Look at Iron Wolf - the majority of people hated it, so even on crowded days it had little to no wait. Demon on the other hand can still fill it's queue. It's outlasted many coasters at the park so obviously it's doing something right.

I'll back you up. In the last 10 years I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the Demon queue, and it's usually been a straight walk up like Shockwave was in the later years. I've never seen anything close to a full queue on normal days. Maybe by coincidence I've always been there when Demon haters are in the house, but based on my experience, it's not a popular ride. And it's worth pointing out that some people will queue for a crappy ride because it's the only one that's available

I'd love to see a dive machine or something like Full Throttle go in that location. I wouldn't be surprised if Pictorium and the SWAT got the axe. They seem to be ripping out ANYTHING that isn't profitable or worth keeping around and replacing them with major capital. Can't really blame them either, as sad as it was to see the Great American Raceway go, look at what they added in it's place! I don't have the numbers but I'm pretty sure X-Flight is alot more profitable than the Great American Raceway, lol.

What about a relocated Togo Stand Up also! It'll increase attendance!

It's always packed on Read to Succeed days... or any other time where enthusiasts know better than to go to the park that day.

They're building one of these in Orlando. Obviously we need one too.

I wonder if Pictorium's days are numbered? Everytime I go, there is pretty much no one there to watch the show, the projection doesn't fit the size of the screen anymore, and now it's shut down until Fright Fest.

What about a custom euro-fighter in pictorium's spot?

I'm sorry, but that won't ever happen. Horrible capacity, and not the best at reliability. Besides, we can also tear up the path, and we can go to Raging Bull's turnaround! I'd say a B&M floorless or sitdown in that spot.

^ I've never been on a floorless coaster, but for some reason, If we got one, I'd like if it had a drop similar to S:KC at SFFT

A new B&M would be a great fit in that spot but how about a dive machine its high capacity first in the franchise or a custom mack coaster.

A dive machine won't happen, as X Flight offers a similar experience. But I would love to see a launch.
