Why in Gods name would SFOG move Georgia Scorcher? SFOG gets a used mouse and removes an already established Corprate Sponsored B&M Stand up? That makes zero sense.
And HTFM has a great location tucked between Whizzer and the train surrounded by trees. Why move it to a concrete pad? And even if it is off the beaten path it's location must not be that big of a problem for it other wise they would have moved its entrance to the main path, relocate it, or just remove it. Besides, we have great spots for dark rides without removing any rides. There's the building behind the county fair games, Trailblazers spot plus behind the arcade, Wilderness Thearte could be demolished, and they could even stick one in the amphitheater since it's not used for much these days. Obviously the first two would be easiest, but I'm just saying that theres a number of options before moving stuff around and sending things to other parks.

No we need more smoking areas
and some moving walkways.
Why does the park need to cater to smokers? I don't agree. I find park beautification is more important than a secluded slab of concrete so you can satisfy yourself.
There are plenty, most sections of the park have two smoking areas each....Mardi Gras is the only section not to have one.

I think the park needs to cater to paying customers, meaning if they want to pay $9 for a beer and have a cigarette with it they should at least have that opportunity. And by your logic I could say well the park has plenty of roller coasters, so why put another one up to cater to a specific demographic of paying customers? But I agree painting a blue box smaller than a bathroom stall in the concrete and adding a bench to it is really disgusting compared to the beautiful, concrete and benches that are surrounding it.
I am a smoker, and so is my wife, we have never felt that there are not enough designated smoking areas in the park. As a season pass holder, you learn where the designated areas are, and wait till your in the area of one if you need a smoke. If you can't walk past one without feeling the need to light up, then what do you do while waiting in line for a ride? I have no problem being confined to a little bathroom sized box (some of the areas are actually quite large), in order to smoke, as smoking is my choice, no one elses.

It's a pointless argument. Larger park "territories" have two smoking areas...This is plenty. I don't know if smokers have trouble walking or what. But if you plan your visit you can just do things "on your way".
It's just like a restaurant, They separate smokers from non-smokers. Why do you think this is? Could be multiple reasons like courtesy for non-smokers or kids. I applaud Six Flags Security for every time they kick a rule-breaking smoker out. Especially in Eagle's line where it gets out of control. That's a good place to start a fire in the bushes.

I am agreeing with you 100%. I am saying I smoke...not your problem...it is mine. I can walk just fine, and don't have a problem going several hours without a smoke. Please re-read my post.
Goku1910 You really need to read others posts, and understand them fully before commenting. This is not the first time I have agreed with you, and you spaz out thinking I'm disagreeing.

It makes perfect sense. SFOG should get a mouse coaster because it's a family type of coaster, and when is the last time that SFOG got a family coaster? I consider the Wil E Coyote coaster a toddler coaster like Spacely's. At SFGAm, sure Dark Knight / Ragin Cajun do get some lines, but the lines are diminishing year after year with the Dark Knight at least. I remember waiting all the way outside the theater with every row going, and now, it's getting less and less. The park doesn't need 2 mice anymore. SFStL has a really rough ride with their Ninja, and Georgia Scorcher is smooth. It's much smoother than Iron Wolf. SFStL should get another big steel ride like Georgia Scorcher. I think SFOG should get more flats, and has so many good coasters already that Georgia Scorcher would NOT be missed. It's a 14 year old ride for goodness sakes. A mouse coaster & 2 family flats at the front of the park at SFOG would be something different. They already have the big thrills surrounding the edges of the park, so it's not like people couldn't see the other thrills like Batman the Ride, Goliath, and Georgia Cyclone- I think a little Mind Bender you can see to.
And for your corporate sponsor thing, sponsors can sponsor any ride. V2 has that goofy hair guy on the trains. Deja Vu was sponsored by Heinz. So, what if it's sponsored. The mouse coaster could be sponsored too!

Using that reasoning we should remove Batman because it's line doesn't reach Orleans Place anymore, it's over 20 years old, and we have plenty of other good roller coasters. And people love Georgia Scorcher, so it would absolutely be missed, regardless of what else the park has to offer. It doesn't make sense to remove a good ride for something else when the park already has a different coaster that nearly everyone hates, Ninja. Scrap that a build a wild mouse or whatever in it's spot.

Ninja isn't that bad....Better than demon, but it's an arrow and that automatically makes it painful. It might be because I'm a small person.

Ilovthevu obviously has not ridden Georgia Scorcher before, because if you think that GS wouldn't be missed you are sadly mistaken. Horribly mistaken in fact.
GS is butter smooth and is one of the best B&M Stand-Ups around.
BTW: GS is right in the front of the park, so I dont get any of your ridiculous reasoning. Also, GS is sponsored by the Georgia Gas Company, which makes an amazing amount of sense... Hell they even painted not ad wrapped, but painted the trains light blue for the sponsorship.

Unfortunately got2bglud and Trident don't exactly have colors we can paint our trains. Of course I had to ride Demon the first time ad wrapped.

Flat rides....hmm I can't think of any exciting ones but I do agree totally when we say the park needs better flats. I personally don't like Fiddlers fling and Revolution. revolution just makes me nauseous. I had to close my eyes which I know is not a good idea.
Now sorry if this is a dumb question, but did anything ever go where that space ship used to be before they tore it down? (across from batman near sky trek tower). I can't remember since my life has drifted into other things instead of six flags.
