According to RCDB.com Wicked Twister is 215' tall and V2 is 185' tall. So, it makes sense why wicked twister has taller towers, because it's a faster ride. Think of going that fast on V2, you would hit the stops on the top of the towers.

It's done that before, actually.
Yeah, WT's claim to fame is it's the tallest impulse coaster. Ironically, do to circumstances regarding the structure, the ride now runs slower and doesn't make it completely up the tower. When it launches, it feels like accelerating in a car with a slipping clutch... darn Mitsubishi...
Occasionally when we would ride V2 alone... because there was no weight on the train, and depending on weather conditions, it has hit the front bumper. My friend was riding when it did it, once. It was during his morning test runs. Needless to say the ride didn't open till noon that day.
LOL! Wow! So I take it you operated that ride? Could you explain more of how it is run? It looks like they have an LCD that controlls everything over there w/ the standard buttons. What all does it controll? And just wondering, what kind of weather conditions allowed V2 to reach the front bumper?
