It has nothing to do with the gum! All they have to do is put a sign at the enterance and the exits of the ride and all will be fine i think that this is just ridiculous and too much. this is overkill and stupid. Just like a stupid commerical if the commerical is stupid then i WILL NOT BUY THE PRODUCT. Ergo this is a stupid advertisement so i will not be buying the gum any time soon.

People are complaining because it looks bad and it's the worst case of Irony.
Gum Chewing is not allowed on rides...yet, they advertise it? IRONY.
You could make the same case for Chupa Chups lolipops and Miracle Whip. Neither are allowed either on rides.
Yeah, but Gum is the only product brought into the park. I highly doubt someone brings a jar/bottle of Miracle Whip with them. And not a single guest is dumb enough to even try to eat anything else on the ride since the staff will notice. Gum can easily be hidden.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
ok. So I had just gotten off Raging bull and I see this brightly colored ride about to go down the ramp and Im wonderin...."That can't be a new ride.....wait wtf is that demon???" Dam Demon looks so fruity. Jeez almost every ride now has to have advertising. Ok so a ride called Demon is brightly colored blue and green. Kinda degrades the name and look of the ride because its brightly colored. Eh hope they get rid of the ads in time for Frightfest.
With all of this lousy ad placements on rides it makes one wish even more that SF would have just went bankrupt and the parks would have been sold off piece meal, maybe we would have got lucky and been bought by a company that doesnt degrade it in the manner that SF does!! Apparently any hope of any theming in the park is gone!!!
^It will as the chain has no clue to fix their problems on a whole. This is their "fix" which does address core problems with the companies strategy. It will provide income, but expect panic mode once the income from ads plateaus.

I think for as long as the ads are on the ride we should call it like wife of the Demon or the Banshee (Banshees are women I think)
Are the wikipedia rumors true?? Will the Blood Waterfall be back for the 2011 season? All the way on the bottom it says 2010 season: Black train recieves flames on both sides in replacement to the red stripe. Tunnel light have switched to on/off they turn on when the train enters the tunnel and turn off when the train leaves with no effects. It also goes further to say that work seems to be under way to resurrect the old front logo, and bring back the waterfall along the corkscrews. I certainly hope so I never rode the DEMON witht he waterfalls!!!!
I agree that it looks kind of silly on a coaster named Demon. However I think its working to not only gain money from advertising but to get more people to ride. I generally avoid Demon as the corkscrew hurts my neck every time. However every time I've gone this year with younger kids. (particularly my 7, 9 and 13 year old nieces) They saw that bright colored car from a distance and immediately got excited yelling "I want to ride on that one!" and practically drag me across the park to get to it. (and they insisted on waiting an extra time to get on the "fun colored" one.) So well it may look stupid to me I have to say its working for the younger girls.
