With Columbus Day, my opinion is that there won't be that many people. The hours are shortened plus that's not even the biggie. There are only 2 real shows that being Hypnotist plus Love at First Fright. They do have that Karoake too though. There are no parades, and I don't even think there will be many characters because if there are no parades, how many characters would be out and about? And characters come out after the parade which was probably about 4:30 pm. So, if they have characters, it's only 1 and half hours of characters. So, to me if you want the full Fright Fest experience, why would you even go Columbus Day? It doesn't get dark till 6:30 pm either, but the park closes at 6 pm.

^Street characters go out at 2 today. However you are correct that there aren't as many as weekends, because colleges don't give Columbus day off (nor do REAL jobs). I doubt there will be a parade but if there is one I'd guess it would be the Zombie Jamborie daytime parade to introduce the characters for the day. I do agree about it seeming pointless to treat today as a normal fright fest day since the park will be closed before sundown. But it should be a fun and not terribly crowded day.

We were there for 5 hours today and it was moderately crowded. The warm weather brought out more people than I expected. Much less crowded than the weekend, though. Real jobs don't give today off? Define real.

Columbus Day is a federal Holiday, so let's just leave it at that, shall we

Agreed it was moderately crowded. And in the context of my previous post a "real job" would be a sustainable year round job (typically career oriented) that some of the scareactors have outside of six flags.

Gonna be a little warmer at night on saturday then it was Opening weekend.

Crowds got real sparse when it got cold. Wasn't really bad all day actually.

I'll be at the park on Friday. For the first time in my life I'm looking forward to the cold autumn weather. We'll see if my thinned out California blood will handle it.

Heads up for anyone going this weekend that Giant Drop will probably be closed tonight and Saturday due to wind, and that the wind gusts may also be high enough to close Ragin' Cajun, Raging Bull, and Superman: Ultimate Flight.

Man its been mad busy Bull's line was past the crazy buffalo. My daughter was getting a face wound and the bull line was right behind us. I have never seen the park this busy before. Last Sunday we drove in and drove right back out, way to busy! Glad to see the park doing very well.

Kinda of funny really windy before park opened up, as soon the park opened no wind as much and right at before close the winds pick back up again.

Just got back from the park. The crowds were very manageable. No cars were parked in the back lot.

I drove by the park last night. It looked amazing. Eagle had red lights and looked creepy along with Tiny the spider. For some reason it looked smaller but I know its size never changes. I also saw the Gorilla on top of Sky Trek Tower and STT had cool strobe lights inside. Man I really want to go to the park saturday which is when I was supposed to go but unfortunately my friend's boss, has to make her work saturday!! I guess no more Six Flags and Fright Fest this year...corporate america claims another victim. BS. :x

Let's just say Saturday was by far the busiest I've seen it all season after 20+ trips.

The shortest ride lines were revolution at 1 hour, and King Chaos at 45 minutes. Everything else rollercoaster-wise was in the hours.

To show just how badly packed it was, we couldn't even ride dark Knight since it's line was out going to almost Superman.

Superman's line was out to the Bumper cars, and Bull and Viper had 3 hour waits.

We waited at Noon for 15 minutes on Batman, and that was the only rollercoaster we rode all day. Everything else was flats, since even those could take 15 - 20 minutes wait to get on.

We still had a blast though.
