Maxx Force NEW FOR 2019

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Thanks for the reviews !! I can't wait to ride it. I might go after work on Wed.

For people who applied for the commercial, did you all get a personal response (Y or N) from Six Flags? I still haven't gotten a response. I'm now wondering if it went to Spam and I accidentally deleted it by just emptying the entire folder.

Yeah but if they actually finished it all, this thing wouldn’t even be having the commercial shoot for another week or so let alone opening. Media day is going to cover so much of the area, I really hope they’re working really hard today to get in good condition.

There were lots of drone shots so I'm not sure how that's even going to work :?

I was sent an email from SFGA Communication Director. It was just a brief email of details of time, where to park, what to bring, what colors to wear, what not to wear, etc. Also two free tickets if we stayed til the end. Probably how most of the extras were informed unless you were an actor from the talent agency.

For wednesday preview what will lines be when they let season pass people in (5pm)
Also, I find it weird that they let t shirt people in 2 hours earlier even though season pass people give more money

Because they don't really give a rat's ass about season pass holders anymore, "you should've bought the membership" they say.
They say there isn't a spot in the park where rusting metal or peeling paint is at least 15 feet away from you.

Speaking of Wednesday does anybody know why the Maxx Force line is closing at 8? The line will be closed off at 8 on the forth.

They're probably expecting 2-3 hrs wait and if they close the line at 10, you're looking to clear the park out around 12-1:00am. Close the line at 8, most everyone will be out by 11pm.

^ Maybe. I was thinking it could be because of the fireworks show though.

I know that. I’m just guessing that’s why the line for Maxx Force is being closed early Wednesday and Thursday.

That's it. SF closes lines early at many parks for certain rides.,,30 minutes or 1hr for certain popular rides that have big lines. SF is not like Cedar Fair that as long as your in line by 10pm they let you ride. Actually, Cedar Point let's it run till 10:05 or 10:10 often.

Website says 'some rides in County Fair and Southwest Territory will close early' for fireworks', implying Maxx Force won't (unless that's just old text)

Well, Six Flags is that way, if you're in the line you can ride even if the park is closed. But they may close the line early so you can't get in the line...

Look at around :45 notice how he ducks HARD when going down the dog tongue. Looks like that little under the track moment will be quite the headchopper.

Here is my Media Video with some on ride, POV (park provided) and stock B-Roll footage.\
The ride is a great addition to the park. The launches great and the way the ride transition so smooth from one element to another is done well.

How EMBARRASSING- Station and queue aren't done for media day????????? The sheer absence of ANY sense of urgency really speaks volumes as to how the park operates as a whole. They should truly be ashamed of themselves.
Doing my part to make management feel like they're important!
What would they do otherwise? Effectively run a park? Not Likely!

I agree with you there. I can only give the excuse that they couldn't get in to paint with all the camera equipment in the way. But then again, wouldnt it have been easier to paint DURING construction? And theyd better get going on installing that first queue block before tomorrow...
