Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
I think for the most part new stand ups are a thing of the past. But parks like SFA could make an unpoular ride like Iron Wolf shine again with new paint, theme and trains. Since their last big ride was added...a long time ago. I do not think they are as picky as most other parks.

Like buying a 20 year old used car that grandma had with 30,000 miles on it. Better yes. Like new no.

Considering the board was down for a day until now, and the fact that this the removal of Iron Wolf was approaching anyway no one is surprised by the announcement... or maybe that's what I think

Right now I couldn't be happier Wolf is leaving...but give it time and when we find out it's being replaced by a spinning coaster, we'll all miss it.

If wolf is replaced by a spinning ride, flat, kids area, or kids coaster... I will cry
In fact, I will cry if both the SWF site and the iron wolf site are not used for good coasters.

Save the speculation for the 2012 Thread of Doom, lol couldn't resist. This thread should be renamed now that it's been confirmed that Iron Wolf IS leaving our park. Three choices here I suggest... -Iron Wolf Appreciation Station -Iron Wolf Aggravation Nation -Iron Wolf 1990-2011: You Will SOREly be Missed.
Push down, then pull up. Exit to your left/right. And, enjoy the rest of your day at Six Flags! Your friendly enthusiast Kyle.

Sad. I remember spending days at Fright Fest watching it fly by my head right before I scared somebody. At least I got one last ride in this summer.

Something to that effect. Iron Wolf does have a "Future"; it will just no longer have one in Gurnee, IL

All Iron Wolf merchandise is now 50% off. I do not know if the blue prints are reduced, but everything else is.

They have most of the coaster (Whizzer, Demon, Iron Wolf, Bull, Batman, etc). they have a lot of different stuff like glasses and mugs as well as stuffed animals (Wolf/Husky for Iron Wolf, Batman doll/figure for Batman), As for the Blueprints it is only American Eagle *numbered) and Iron Wolf from what I saw.
