"With all the coaster swapping taking place in 2012 at Six Flags, it’s almost like the old Six Flags Ride Rotation Program is back again isn’t it? Iron Wolf may go to SF America, Déjà Vu at Magic Mountain may go to New England… and then there is that long rumored coaster for Great America. Rest assured fans… 2012 may very well be the year you have been waiting for, when SFGAm will have the eyes of the world upon it to check out a fairly new piece of coaster technology coming to the US for the first time in 2012. And since the park is losing the first ever B&M coaster, it’s only fitting to replace it with a new B&M coaster don’t you think? How would you feel about a B&M Wing Coaster coming to the park for 2012? It just may happen… stay tuned!"
This means nothing to me. They could have just read the screamscape rumor. This doesn't mean they know anything more than anyone else. Sure, the park higher ups know what's going on. They probably ordered the coaster 2 years ago.

It was a rumored new state of the art coaster that was going to go in Southwest Territory. I believe it was to be a 4D like X2 at Magic Mountain. In fact I think what is X2, was originally rumored to be built here, but because of various factors Six Flags decided to instead ship the project off to MM and in turn we ended up with Hurricane Harbor.
Or were you being "Internet Sarcastic/serious" and I didn't pick up on it.
Push down, then pull up. Exit to your left/right. And, enjoy the rest of your day at Six Flags! Your friendly enthusiast Kyle.
I'l be heading to the park within the next few days, mainly to rack up some rides on IW. Does anyone know if they are still selling the IW blueprints, and what store they're in? Thanks.

They are still selling the IW blueprints as of 7/23 when I purchased one along with the AE print as well.

They are still there and there are plenty of them. I was there this monday and there were tons of them at the Carousel Plaza (I think thats the name). But I opted to buy the American Eagle one instead. I actually think that the whole reason for even selling Iron Wolf blueprints is because its leaving.
When they lock the seats they announce that they are locking the first three rows (Locking 3 then two then one) and then they say the train is secure when ride ops are still checking harnesses. When do they lock 4-7, how come they announce 1-3 and how come they say the train is secure when most o th time it's not. Also do other standups board like this. I don't remember Mantis doing anything like this (instead the ride ops yell at everyone) but does Riddlers or Green Lantern or Schorcher board like this
^ When they announce "1 is locked" "2 is locked" "3 is locked", it does not refer to the OTSRs, just the seat heights. The train is in three sections. 1 is rows 1 and 2, 2 is rows 3, 4, and 5, 3 is rows 6 and 7. When they say train secure, it just means the seat heights are locked for the entire train.

You've never been on Iron Wolf!!!??
nope a little too big to ride it. working on it but its not magic and cant be done overnight.
Wait a minute... What if Hank and Six Flags arent lying? What if Iron Wolf is going to stay at Great America? That permit from SFA could be for a brand new stand-up, one was built last year in China... and there are rumors that La Ronde may be removing their stand up coaster. You never know... plans can change on a dime.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter

I could be wrong but where did it state that SFA is getting a "B&M" stand up? Also, if IW is leaving and everybody is speculating about its departure, why is SFGAm not confirming or denying of it's removal. They stated before that it is not leaving, but they also stated last year we were not getting water rides for 2011.

Assuming you're talking about the one at Ocean Park, that was rumored to be a stand up, but the park has confirmed that it's a floorless coaster.
I highly doubt that they would buy a new B&M stand-up. It would be 13 years next year since they made one which was Georgia Scorcher. There is a reason why they don't make them anymore. It's probably because the parks figured, it's too low of a capacity for them due to the seats that have to be locked, and it's also probably about people complaining about those rides. Do you know how many times I hear about guys complaining about something with Iron Wolf? Really, they need to man up. Stop being a bunch of babies for the people that complain about it. Superman for me can be worse, but I don't whine and moan about it.
