Just a Thought for 2004...

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby CoasterDave316 on November 10th, 2003, 8:04 pm
Alright first off....none of you have sources, because if you did you wouldn't be babbling on about whatever your source said on the forums. Because chances are if it is a reliable source, they would not take to kindly to it.So stop all this "I heard from my source" and "I overheard the Lemon Chill guy" crap. It will just cause false rumors to turn into to false facts as usual.

You're all wrong. My source, who is reliable, and doesn't want me to say this, said that SFGAm will get a S&S Thrust Air Screaming 4D Squirrel!

Thats cool. I didn't know s+s allready created one. JUST KIDDING!!Theres no doubt in my mind they're gettin' a ride. My source is reliable and it knows some top execs from six flags inc. And not just because of that but I just know they are.

da rcman2001 it is called common sense. A space shot takes up very little room and there would be no need to take out TP. It also doesn't matter that we already have Giant Drop because they are two different rides. It is like saying that Sky Trek Tower and Giant Drop are the same rides because they are both towers. A Space Shot just isn't one shot, the ride takes you up and down numerous times. You really do not get that jump in your stomach feeling like Giant Drop. Please do not bother listing rumors unless you are willing to back it up by naming your source. Most likely the park will get a new ride, but anything after that is speculation.

I'm not stupid I've been on Maliboomer numerous times, Dr. Dooms Fearfall, Supreme Scream, and the mighty of all space shots, Big Shot on top of the stratosphere. Don't try and tell me what the hell a space shot is. And I'll admit it I know its not a fact, and its just a rumor, but this person doesn't even know jack about roller coasters and he said we are getting a tower ride that launches you up and down. His words aren't acurate, but beleive me, the source who told him (meaning im hearing words passed on from 2 other people) is a top executive for six flags inc.I'll talk to the kid tommorrow and try to find out some details. All say it again, I didn't even think we would get one when he told me that because we have giant drop and it would just be stupid, but this is all just rumors, speculation and "my source said" crap until we can see some costruction, or a press release.

He did name his source! Can't you read? Apparently, his source is not a person, but an 'it.' I'm guessing a pen, pencil, keyboard, or something of that sort. Something inanimate that has been in SFI's headquarters, most likely in some of the top execs' offices.Let me say that in layman's terms. He's full of crap. He doesn't know anyone or anything that knows anyone or anything about a new ride. Otherwise he wouldn't be talking.Oh, and you really should stop posting that crap, too. Read section 2 of the TOS. If it's inacurate, don't post it.

HAHAHA your funny tbiggs. If I told you who HE was, and some one working for six flags read these forums (and we know they must sometimes because they stated in the press release for s:uf that they have been following the forums, and put grass/ landscaping because we said we didn't want suf to be in a parking lot like shockwave), I/ we (da chillin16jg) would lose our source, and he would lose his.

I was responding to the fact that having Giant Drop is not an excuse for not getting a space shot. I really do not understand why people speculate so much on these boards. What the park gets (if anything) in 2004 is going to be put into the park. Nobody on these boards knows or can make a difference on what ride they choose, except maybe T_Biggs. :D I really do not mind hearing people's opinions, but please enough with the he said, she said.

I still think the magic eight ball is the best way to find out about the new ride. Any decision making I have to do comes right from that little black ball. I just asked it if TP was going to be removed for good and it said NO. All the rumers can now officially die.

Why should, I or anyone else believe you in anyway when you just made up that part about SUF's Press Release. No where in SUF's press release did it say anything about them reading forums and putting grass and landscaping around the ride.
