The park opened the last weekend in april this year so it looks like the same will happen next year. The park could open a little earlier in the month but I doubt that would happen.
There is this thing before the season starts is called advocate day. It is where only advocate workers can go and bring their families. And is free of charge im goin next year because my mom works for advocate so it will be nice to go before the season starts. Also, I Think it will probably be like open on the same day as it did this year.
I'm going there on that day, even if I have to walk there. (I live at the very south end of 294.) So if you see a chubby white dude walking north on 294, please give me a lift.
Ok I will cause I hope to go that day too!! I will look for the chubby white dude!! And sure, I will give you a lift. Unless, of course, I have to walk too.
When will they make the announcement? I really am trying to get a group with and givin everyone 4 months notice so they can clear there schedules. Party it up at the gurnee grand.
Not sure if this means anything, but the website has replaced "See you in April 2007" with "See you in spring, 2007" That leaves 3 possibilities.
1. They are still opening in April and changed it for no apparent reason.
2. They are considering opening later.
3. They are considering opening earlier.
I know when Shapiro first took over, he mentioned something about extending the operating season, but I don't know if this is related. Also, Shapiro seems to change plans alot so he may not be looking at lengthening the season anymore.
Wow, I haven't been posting at all in the last three months! I got alot to catch up on...not really lol. It's the offseason so hey,..anyway, I will definitley be there for openiong day '07. I really hope I get the opportunity to meet up with a few of you and ride some coasters!
"Oh My Gosh, She is such a whore!" - heard behind me exiting Raging Bull.

No, if they were going to open earlier, it would still say April.
