Mark your Calenders: April 30th 2005

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Galvan on November 12th, 2004, 10:15 pm
After looking at Sixflags.com It would appear that April 30th will be opening date for Great America!

While the time is TBA its a pretty safe bet that 4/30/05 Will be Great America's opening day.

The reason why I mention this, is because Six Flags lists Math & Science Days as April 30th- September 19th which would signal that Great America's opening day is 4/30.

I will be there on the 30th, I kind of figured that it would be April 30th because it is a split weekend, half in April half in May. And on March 25, I am going to SFStL's opening day, hopefully.

Why would it probably be crowded? This year opening day was really nice from what I remember :!:

well it says that the dates on there are subject to change without notice, so it may or may not be opening day that day

Quick pull up your calander on your computer (double click where it says the time in the bottem left corner) and go to March 27th 2005. It's a Wendesday.

And yes it was below 50 degress most of opening day.

Yea, March is the third month (3), and the 27 is on a Sunday. It is March 27, 2005 because Easter and Spring Break are combined into one break for me. Also, if you can explain to me why SFStL would be open on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 of March, but closed on Sunday 27. It would be because Easter is March 27.

I thought it would be april 30th because they have always opened exactly 6 months after the second to last day of closing. Last year the second to last day of closing was saturday november 1st. Opening day was may 1st. This year the second to last day of closing was October 30th, so opening day should be on april 30th.

^ I think it depends on the weather... In '03 it was hot and the crowds were pretty large. This year, it was completely different.
