Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hey everyone! I am one of those people who is very interested in Great America's history. I love reading about the changes this park has gone through over the years. I am in the process of making a time line covering the park's history. I have some questions about rides that have come and gone. Here they are, there are ten:1.) Did Cajun Cliffhanger open with the park?2.) When was White Water Rampage renamed Roaring Rapids?3.) I know there was a ferris wheel next to Fairgrounds Junction station. Did it have a name other than Ferris Wheel? When was this ride added and when was it removed?4.) There used to be a ride in Yankee Harbor called Davie's Dhingys. What type of ride was this? When did it close?5.) Where was Industrial Revolution located and when did it close?6.) When was the Saskatchewan Scrambler relocated and renamed Hometown Fun Machine?7.) When was the Delta Flyer/Eagle's Flight skyride removed?8.) The Gulf Coaster only operated for one season, correct?9.) What was the name of the trolly that ran from Orleans Place to Hometown Square? What year did it cease operation?10.) What year did Dare Devil dive open?I know that some of you know a lot about this stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Wow, that's a great idea... Sorry, I don't have answers to any of your questions, but I'm very interested in seeing that time-line when you get it finished. :)

Davie's Dingny's is now called Yogi Bears Yahoo River. When it closed I don't know. The technical name for the trolley was "The Hometown and Orleans Street Railway"Those are some tough ones. I don't know the rest.

3. I think the ferris wheel is the Flinstone-themed ferris wheel in Camp Cartoon Network, is it not?5. http://www.angelfire.com/oh4/tk173/demon.html At the bottom, there is a picture of ToTC, I think the ride behind it's lift hill is the Industrial Revolution. Otherwise, it might be the ride above the lift hill, but I think thats Bottoms Up. (Did I just make up that name? I'm not sure...)7. I don't know when the ride itself was removed, but I know at least some of the support towers were around until at least 1995, maybe later.Chitown, you could probably be a lot of help with this one.
