When I was there (week ago), all they were serving at that time were MGD and Miller Lite on tap. They were also serving Red Stripe in the bottle and a couple other beers along with some type of lager in the bottle.
The smoothies were also being sold but they were non-alcoholic.
I am assuming they are waiting on approval for their liquor license. At least I hope that is what is going on.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
They were approved for their liquor license on Friday and they will have mixed drinks sometime next week (the bartender told me this on Sat so I am not sure if that means this week or next week). She said that she thinks the whole park will offer mixed drinks at the areas that you could previously buy beer also. They do have Carona's now at the Tiki Bar. That was nice on Saturday in the heat to sit back and sip a corona
P.S. Any tap or bottle beer is $5.88 each... tax included. I wonder how much the mixed drinks will be??

As odd as it sounds, Altgeld Hall also has their own liquor license.
Hopefully they will get a full liquor license... Just lying in the waterpark, in my lounge chair crisping with a nice cold alcoholic drink in my hand....
