There is more space for rides in the park. We got room for more flat rides. If they knockdown Wilderness Theatere they can put a coaster there. Heck they can even take out more of the parking lot and just put up a parking structure like Universal has with their parks if they wanted to. And even if they do not in the no too distant future rides like Demon and Iron Wolf are getting up in age and will be taken down which could in turn produce more space for a mega coaster. Or they can pull a Cedar Point and start taking down flats to put up major coasters

You will never see a new coaster installed in the area where Shockwave is sitting. Simply put, neighbors have backyards that border that part of GA's property.
Those neighbors had issues when V2 was proposed for the spot it went into.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
They don't need to touch anything, period! I have said this so many times...Hasn't anyone ever noticed how much room is between the Viper and Whizzer. All they have to do is be creative which coporate won't let them, you know what? Screw coporate! All you have to do is put your mid to it and you will see guareenteed they can fit a major coaster in, if not more than one. You can only do as much as you put your mind to it. Has anyone ever thought if they were to reconfigure a small part of one midway how much room you can achive out of it.
Now's not the time to argue about space. After HH is built and GA is proposing a new coaster and they don't know where to put it is when we argue about space.
How much longer can I last until Opening Day! ARRRRGH!
the problem with the area between Viper and Whizzer is there's Viper's line, the rail road, Raging Bull, and what I believe is a maintence area and road off to the side of the railroad going into Whizzer's area. you'd not only have to be creative, but you'd have to possibly move the queue. finally, you'd need dome place to put the queue and exit. again, there's room, but you'd have to move stuff. probably not entire rides, but possibly lines and food stalls.
one area I think could handle a coaster is between AE and the tent, though you'd have to work it around the maintence drive and split the queue with AE.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
Ron Wolf has already stated that if current plans stay intact, the next roller coaster will be added with out sacrificing another roller coaster.(He talks to Larry Wine.) The Viper/Whizzer forest is the first thing that comes to my mind.
Anyways, more people at Hurricane Harbor=less lines for rides at Great America.
^^ Yay! Although I will probably go to the waterpark 1 or 2 times next year I have to match my track record this year for Six Flags which is 41 now and Friday will be my final day making a beautiful 42.

No it doesn't water park will increase capacity allowing more people into the park so it can increase park lines. In simple language, it will be like a SWT addition. Added Attractions+More People=A little bit longer lines because you can't forget to add distrubtion into the equation.

Let me re-word that. The more people that come to SFGam/SFhh that actually go to Hurricane Harbor, the less the lines for the actual theme park will be.
Well, when HH gets enough profit, they'll probably include it into the admission (Like SFSTL) and then some lines will be really long and some lines will be really short. This happens a lot at Kentucky Kingdom, I guess, only been there twice. Chang and Greazed Lightening were walk on and the waterslides were at least a 45 minute wait. I'm looking to far ahead in the future, though. Probably because I cannot go to the waterpark because it is stinking expensive...
Once again, in the HH preview center, one of the composite drawings were changed with the new admission gates missing from it. I also asked the employee if it is seperate gated or not and he told me it was going to be connected with the park and then showed me the plus(+) sign between the SFGam logo and the Huricane Harbor logo.
Ah... sorry... I must've missed that post.... while I concede at this point that it probably will be one admission, I cannot get over what a stupid idea that is (from the park's financial point of view, not ours).
It isn't that stupid. SFGAm draws over 3 million people per year. Even if you factor that half of their admissions are season pass holders, you have 1.5 million left. Times that by $10 extra they will charge per ticket, and you get $15 million. The conference call said they plan to recoup their cost in two years. Their attendance will also increase from this waterpark.
This extra revenue is on top of the usual profit they set aside for capital expenditures.
Right, but increasing the general admission price so drastically could actually cause a decline in attendance, something that Six Flags has been fighting for a few years now.
